Nice stainless stranded metal hose for attaching to a propane tank and a stove or heater. The only criticism is the tank side connector has a plastic handle and not a metal one to match the quality of the hose itself.

This company understands how hose fittings for propane are supposed to work and put their knowledge in their products. Easy to attach and easy to remove. Save the thread protector that comes with your hose and use it when you're not using the hose it works great for keeping the propane odor at a very minimum that would be the sediment that always remains inside the hose after use.

REVISION: The replacement hose initially leaked in the same manner, leading me to suspect the propane tank itself, since it was the only item I didn't have two of for trouble shooting. I bought a new propane tank and now the connection did not leak. The hose worked as advertised. Although the old tank did not leak on the old grill, the old tank was really old, so I suspect there may have a design change or damage that rendered the tank incompatible with this hose adapter. The rating has been adjusted accordingly. ORIGINAL: As a safety professional, I was dismayed when I tried to connect this hose to my 20 lb propane tank. Even after 5-6 retries and careful cleaning, the fitting leaked badly. I could feel the propane leak with my hand and hear it clearly. Propane odor was quickly noticeable. No soap solution needed to find this leak!! I had taken the propane tank from my old grill (which was not leaking) to move to a new grill, where the fitting leaked. When I returned the tank to the old grill, the tank fitting did not leak. I do not believe the tank fitting was the problem, but rather this adapter hose fitting. I asked for a replacement and sincerely hope it doesn't leak.
