The media could not be loaded. I’m really, really impressed. This upgrade has greatly improved nighttime visibility, as well as the look of the front of the car. I was a little hesitant at first, before buying them, mainly because I’m not mechanically inclined. However, after reading the previous reviews and comments, I decided to make the investment. As I opened the package, I was expecting to get some instructions, but it didn’t come with any instructions or literature. The headlights came nicely packaged in a secure way. I proceeded to perform the installation after praying and following some common sense:1.- Unplug original headlights connector. It has a lock, which you need to press and then pull the connector out.2.- Unscrew all headlight bolts. There are 5 on top for the bracket the holds the headlight, and 2 more bolts, one on the lower back part of the light and the other one close to the grill through a hole. So, 7 in total for each light. After unscrewing the bolts, I positioned each on the plastic on the back of the engine, the way each screw was positioned in the headlights, so that I would screw them back the same way.3.- Unscrew and pull out the grill: unscrew the 3 screws on top of the grill, then push down with one hand and pull out (frontward, not upward) grabbing the grill from the openings at the bottom of the grill. It comes out easily. If you are using too much force, you are doing it wrong. The grill has a few plastic clip ons at the bottom, which helps it stay in place, so it’s just a matter of pulling it out toward the front. It may help to start from the side of the grill.4.- Remove old headlights (very easy)5.- Place the new headlights in position6.- install grill back. Push it in and you will hear it click.7.- Screw headlight plates back, but do not tighten screws. Make sure they are evenly positioned.8.- Screw grill. Once you see and make sure that all is properly aligned, tighten screws.9.- Plug back the connectors into headlights10.- Plug in the ballast connectors into new headlights11.- Screw the ballasts to the frame of the car (very easy with electric drill and appropriate socket).Turn on your car and be amazed! What a difference! Everything worked right off the bat. I got a yellow light signal on my dashboard for a few seconds and it went away. The entire process took me 1 hour and 45 minutes. I had nothing negative to comment about it, except for the lack of instructions, but even for me (not being mechanically oriented), it was an easy and very rewarding experience and outcome. Again, I’m very pleased with the investment. I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to (highly) upgrade a car’s nighttime visibility and looks. That’s why I’m giving it a 5 star rating.Note: if you are looking to upgrade your Passat’s halogen, you can spend $400 plus for the latest LED technology out there. BUT with these complete set of headlights, you get beautiful, modern looking daytime running LEDs, plus dual super powerful HID Xenons, plus super bright and cool moving turn signals. One thing: I noticed that under the Amazon description it says wattage: 35 watts, but the actual ballast label says 55 watts. (?)I hope this helps you to make the right choice.

These look great on my Passat. It's plug and play. I only gave it 4 stars because the left low beam didn't work. I had to replace it with another one. I decided to install led bulbs and they work great. I had to adjust the green bulb holder because h7 bulbs wont fit in it. Just be sure to get an led canbus decoder so the bulbs won't flicker and won't show error on the dash. I contacted them about the situation but they didn't follow up with it. So far the headlights are working.

Definitely an upgrade over stock headlights! Fit was perfect and easy to do if you take your time. You do have to remove the front grill to get the lights in and out. Put into a 2015 VW Passat TDI SEL.The only drawback is the instructions were not helpful at all and you have to find a place to mount the ballast for the HID lights. I had to drill and screw into a support bracket. The included screws were a little short so I had to use longer stainless screws.In addition, the brights are a little yellow in color. Had I known this, I would have switched the bulbs to a whiter light before installing as they are not easy to get to once installed.

I positively love these headlights! They’re an all around win, from the high-line styling to the serious improvement to visibility. The headlights come pre-adjusted, so I brought out my triple square set, and aside from mounting the ballast on the frame, I just plug the headlights into the factory harness and no lights on the dash; all done. Now my only hesitation is, how long will the lenses last? For now, I’m entirely satisfied with this enhancement to my Passat! 👍👍

Good fit, plug & play, they look much better then OEM headlights -- not sure how long they will last, but happy with them for now!
