Sturdy and steady.
Excellent camp stove. Sturdy, steady, but a little heavy. Used this on recent overnight hike it provided generous amounts of heat to prepare a camp meal for me and the dog. Used pencil and finger size stick as fuel and required just the minimum of attention. Assembly was simple and quick. Disassembly required a little more effort but as long as you are smarter than the stove it can be done with ease.

Great little stove
The media could not be loaded. It works great. Very sturdy, unlike most all other camping stoves for sale. Being very sturdy, it is also heavy in comparison to other stoves. I do realize you really can't have one without the other. It is also expensive compared to others; however, the construction of the pieces is such that it really could not ever be sold for prices similar to other small camping stoves. Also, it came with NO instructions for assembly. Once I figured that one out, I made the accompanying video to aid others in assembly. I found that trying to assemble the stove on a hard flat surface, using the method I show in my video, is more difficult than on a surface that 'gives', like the grass in the video. I would definitely recommend buying one if the weight and price are not a major issue for you.-- Update: I originally gave it 4 stars. Having used it a few times, I like it even more now.

Nice
Fitment and finish were very good. However I believe the base plate is much too thin and will warp and lose shape due to generated heat overtime. Just my opinion but my opinion comes from experience with heat and metals over the years. I would’ve liked to seen the one piece base plate to be twice as thick as the rest of the pieces

Great little stove!
Great little stove!I bought two of these for my sons at Christmas, and they both love them. A few sticks and you have a hot fire ready for cooking. Neither of my sons minded the weight (5 lbs) because they are just so sturdy and easy to assemble. Should last a lifetime. Excellent customer service as well. Highly reccomend this stove.

Super functional and compact.
Takes a few minutes to assemble but very sturdy. Takes minimal twigs and sticks to maintain a fire that quickly boiled water. Pan sits nicely on top. I used iron skillet. Small enough to pack and was nice atmosphere just watching and feeding fire.

A great product but heavier than expected
For a survivalist this is a great gift. Small and compact but not so much for a hiker as it is on the heavy side. But it probably has to be heavy to burn limbs and twigs. A great addition to have if without power for any length of time as it would supply some heat and able to cook with it as well. My brother loved it. And he didn't already have one!

It works
Ingenious design. Easy to assemble when you follow the directions. When putting it inside a canvas pouch, I did notice that all the corners were very sharp. This could have cut holes through the pouch. So I had to round, and smooth them on my bench grinder.Either way, takes up virtually no space, easy to assemble and disassemble, and it's a pleasure to use.

Totally ridiculous to assemble. Could not do it.
Totally ridiculous to assemble. Spent 3 hours, could not get it to work. NO INSTRUCTIONS. Way smaller then looks in photos.
