BETAZOOER Reptile Humidifiers Mister Fogger with Extension Tube/Hose, Suitable for Reptiles/Amphibians/Herps/Vivarium with Terrariums and Enclosures (2.5 Liter Tank)

i bought this humidifier for my blue tongue skink enclosure after our old one broke. i'm pretty impressed by it so far and i really like the adjustability of it. the only thing i would say is to be careful about how you place the tubing in the enclosure because the humidifier will stop working/get clogged if there is too much water build up due to poor tube placement.overall, it is one of the cheapest options i have found for a reptile humidifier and gets the job done.

tl;dr No issues after 20 months of use.This unit works quietly, creates plenty of fog, and I've had no leaks. The dial allows me to tune how much I want to fog up my vivarium and the higher end pushes enough for a dual tube system. Its a constant on when the dial is turned so a timer or thermostat is needed, but once it's set up, it just needs refilling and general maintenance. If you live somewhere, like me, with hard water; use filtered water and clean the base out every once in a while. There are drips while removing the tank and I can see how it would leak if the tank wasn't properly seated, so I'm careful when its time to replace the water.I bought this to maintain my starting bioactive vivarium at a constant humidity. I had it hooked up to my starter tank for my snake and had it run off of a Spyder herpstat 2 to maintain a relative humidity of 75%. With the setup I had, It ran about 20 total minutes throughout the day (the thermostat would turn it on and off as needed to maintain humidity). I knew it was too tall to fit in the equipment area of the large vivarium I was building so it would be replaced with a different unit at the time of its completion. I probably bought and returned 5 different units trying to find one that fit, had enough flow, and didn't leak. I kept this one as a backup but it ended up being my main unit. I ultimately changed the design of my vivarium to fit this fogger because it's the only one I've gotten that has worked reliably over the past 2 years.

Worked really good at first then just stopped working one day. I only used distilled water in it as recommended and kept it clean. The warranty is only 3 months, which I wished I would have payed closer attention to. I contacted Betazooer, they just said, sorry you are past your warranty, we hope you will buy another one! I don’t think so. Also, I didnt really notice much difference using the control knob, didn’t see much of a change in output at all. There were not any instructions, although it wasn’t hard to figure out. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend.UPDATE: Seller ended up sending a new unit even though it was out of warranty. We will see how well the next one works and I will update.

2/2/22 tonight I removed the tank to refill it and heard a zapping noise like an electrical short. It will no longer power on. An electrical short when you're messing with a tank full of water well that's not a good thing so. This thing is straight garbage and possibly dangerous12/29 I reached out to the company and they sent me a replacement. I will update after I have time to use it longerUpdate 12/8/2021 so my concern with the spring turned into a complete failure when the plug that keeps the water from pouring out when you turn the tank right side up to place it on the base and the spring and the plunger that opens up the plug all fell out. Now when I turn The tank right side up the water just pours out of it so I have to be quick. The humidifier is still working but I'm changing my review to one star because it didn't even make it 6 months before this part broke. I don't know maybe this one's just passed by quality control and shouldn't have for maybe they're all garbage. I'll be buying another similar humidifier just not this particular manufacturer. That's too bad an entire product can be undone by one crappy part. And apparently the manufacturer doesn't care. With all these one star reviews they have not bothered to respond to a single one. The only problem I've had is that the spring on the cap that holds the plunger in place so that it doesn't leak when you turn it right side up is too weak. So I have to put it in place quickly or it leaks everywhere. Otherwise it works fine

The media could not be loaded.  The sound is not from this humidifier. That’s my daughter’s space heater. We have it set up high so that the tube doesn’t fill with water and turn off. We also have it on a timer and used a little bread tie to help keep it where we wanted it. Snake loves it and so do the live plants. We have to refill the tank every few days with the timer settings we have it on.

This fogger works insanely well…but it really works too well. We have this fogger split up between 2 30gal tanks currently, and both tanks get overly fogged so you can’t see anything-this is on the lowest setting. With so much fog being produced, the reservoir doesn’t even last a single day. The reservoir is also a bottom fill, so you need to pull it out and refill it frequently. This is especially difficult if you have your set up to hide the machinery to make the entire set up look as natural as possible. This is a max fog producer, so A+ for that, but otherwise, this won’t be working out for us, unfortunately.

The media could not be loaded.  We bought this for our python as he’s starting to get big now, and shedding has not been easy for him…. The machine is super quiet, and I am so grateful I got one of the good ones! Those hit and miss reviews had me super scared to purchase I will not lie😌 I would definitely recommend this device! It does not use a lot of water, The size is super convenient, and set up was simple as well. The tank humidity was up a bit, but it levels back out after the cycle so no complaints from us, and Stonee really seems to likes it! I hope this helps someone! Thanks for reading.

Works quite well! Quiet motor and lasts awhile when filled with water and used with a timer. My ball python likes it and he has no issues with shedding now that I use this. I have it on a timer to run for about 25mins every 3.5 hours and it's been working well. It keeps his terrarium warm and the humidity at an ample temperature.

Does the job great

Very easy to set and use.I'm using it for my terrarium converted into a vivarium (a gecko within a living ecosystem: real plants), combined it with a programmable outlet timer and results are fantastic.Water tank needs refill every other day, but it depends on intensity and frequency of use.

Lamentable que este el producto en la pagina en español, y en ningún apartado ponga que no es clavija europea y funciona a 110v, encima dice que no se garantiza idioma de manual en español, pero ni el idioma ni que vaya a funcionar no? porque enchufarlo difícil.
