BluGuard VCI Anti Corrosion Vacuum Pistol Bag

Not as happy as I wanted to be with these bags. I bought two and although both seal well initially, the seals are not very durable. It doesn't take much manipulation to cause either the zip-lock or the vacuum valve to leak. I need a deep and lasting seal that will tolerate some handling of the bags.Also, if the items are placed at the bottom of the bag and there is nothing beneath the vacuum valve, it won't work. The vacuum just sucks up against the back side of the bag and no air will be evacuated. Although I understand the limits of the system, it takes away from the versatility of the bag.The bags themselves are very well made, and I have faith in the VCI technology. I'm not sorry I bought them, they just didn't meet my expectations.

I guess the real test will come when I open the bag in a few years, but the technology behind what makes the bag work has been used in industry for many years and should do the job.

These bags do a wonderful job of maintaining the condition of any metal you place in them. Living in a humid environment, these are essential to storing items without worry of electricity. Highly recommend for your pistols.

Out of the four I ordered, two do not maintain their seal. They're durable for sure though.

tough bags and hold vacuum well, a bit pricey but to long term store a few shtf pistols, probably cannot beat it,
