Wonderful
I have been out of spinning for a number of years and I have to say I am very impressed with this reel, build quality and function very impressive considering the price. Not used yet looking forward to that. But I would say for any beginner this reel is a must.

Really smooth action
So far used it for spin fishing off the coast as well as river bait fishing. Really impressed with this reel. very smooth and virtually silent. Feels really solid and well built. Amazing quality for the price.

smooth but issue
I like this real for casting and retrieval, but there is a slight issue I noticed tonight while spinning for Bass in Cornwall, if when you retrieve your last cast and are readying yourself to cast again, if you dont have the bail arm roller exactly next to where your finger is for catching it before casting, this reel has the habit of catching the line on the bail arm and if you dont notice will lead to a crack off. Still, very nice reel, very smooth and nice retrieve, but there is a design issue there.
