Q: Are any of the items tested on animals?

I didn't think it did when I ordered my kit, and I've had a look at my box and packaging again and still I don't think it is, but can't see an explicit statement either way. It makes a big claim of being made of pure, all natural and unscented ingredients ,so I would imagine not. I bought this set a while back for my burgeoning lockdown beard and I think it's brilliant.

Q: What's the different of oil and balm?

The Oil is literally oil that you rub into the beard down to the skin to maintain it and encourage growth. The natural oil in the hairs can get dried out from hot water. The balm is more for giving the beard a well kept look and controlling get-away hairs. It's not waxy and is very subtle. Only use the shampoo every 2-3 days.
