Beautiful Caudex Bonsai! TWO live plants! - 1 year old plant (approx. 5-7 in. in height) - Plant comes barerooted with NO LEAVES or FLOWERS. COLOR MOST LIKELY RED OR PINK. The plant is grown from a mixture of seeds that typically produce red or pink flowers. Place plant in full sun - Water once a week after transferring the plant into a pot with sandy soil (not potting soil), roots start growing in one week, and leaves start growing in two weeks - These plants need minimal care and are perfect for amateur plant lovers. We have been in the plant business for more than 15 years. Because of the stringent processes of the USDA some plants have no leaves. These adenium are drought tolerant and enjoy full sun. Because of this, the plant only needs to be watered once a week. They grow very easily in sandy well draining soil to encourage the soil to retain less water. After planting, the roots will begin to establish themselves again and leaves or flowers should appear after 2 weeks. Adenium are very easy to care for and prefer hot and dry weather, not wet and cold weather. For temperatures below 53F, it is best to keep the adenium indoors and refrain from giving the plants water. SHIPPING: All plants sizes are selected at random. No APO/FPO and international shipments please. All varieties have limited quantities. 15 Day Return Period. If you have concerns about the plant after it arrives, please immediately notify us. Please contact me immediately with any questions. I want to make sure you are very happy with your purchase. Thank you very much.

Size varies
This was my second order of these Desert Roses. The size of the roses in this order were smaller than the first. The smaller of the two in this order has shown no leaves or sign of life while the other three have sprouted new leaves. All were potted the same way on the day they arrived. Not sure this one will survive.

Still getting them going.
I received the 2 desert roses carefully boxed and quicker than anticipated. I was blown away by how many leaves were on each plant. As a lover of plants, we all know any plant can go into a shock period and drop their leaves. That happened all the way for one plant, but it is now putting off new leaf growth. The larger of the 2 still has some of the original leaves, and it's beginning some new growth. The secret I have found to Desert Roses is be very wary of watering these guys. Even though the soil is dry, put your finger way down in the dirt around 2"or more. If it feels slightly cool, wait till it feels dry. I'm not an expert, but I've not killed the one I have had for about 5 years. It puts off the prettiest dark pink blooms every year. BTW, everyone has their opinion, so I'd like to say I like my 4 1/2' tall Desert Rose. I don't know if I would try to bonsai these guys. Yes, I am scared! But I still love my tall plants. Makes a beautiful garden in the spring and summer. Want to spread this hint I found from the web. I brought in the DR I have for the winter when one of the branches started going soft and turning black. I did an extensive search finding all these products being suggested to stop the deterioration. One lady gave no long explanation. She said cut the end to where it's not soft, then pack cinnamon on that branch. It worked and has saved other like plants I have.

Healthy plants
Received two healthy bonsai babies. They are already growing new leaves. Potted separately but I’m sure you could put them together. Would buy from seller again.

Need to be familar with what you are purchasing
The one Dessert Rose was very healthy and a nice size as described, BUT the other although a nice size had root rot very bad that went all the way up into the base, The roots were very slimy. I didn'twant to return it as I know it would be thrown away, so I decided to try to save it and give it a chance to survive. I followed the instructions on YouTube on how to save a Dessert Rose plant with very bad root rot. Whether I will be successful is a matter of time. I am hoping that it will live as I would hate to see the poor little plant die.

Vale la pena....!
The media could not be loaded.

Came with pests
The plants are large and beautiful, but came with mealybugs unfortunately. The seller has not replied yet, but I'm hoping we can work something out. I'm trying to treat them, but the plant has already gotten worse.

Time will tell
1 plant seems healthy, 1 was rotten and died within a week. Healthy one has sprouted new leaves after 2 weeks. Hope it continues to grow and bloom soon.

Get these!!!
I ordered desert roses from 3 different listings. Planted them all at the same time and these are the only two that survived. They’re doing very well and I expect that I’ll have them many years. I love the fact that it’s two for the price of one. THANKS!
