Time Wise Luminous-Wear Liquid Foundation Ivory 6/Normal to Dry Skin

I was using Mary Kay Mineral Foundation  Mary Kay MINERAL POWDER FOUNDATION Ivory 2 Sealed Fresh  because it's the first foundation I ever used that looked natural on me & wasn't absorbed by my skin. I loved it except that my face didn't have a dewy look to it, so I'd rub a little moisturizer into my fingertips & dab it onto my face.My Mary Kay consultant wanted me to try TimeWise Luminous-wear liquid foundation. I thought I would hate it but was surprised that it looks great on me; my face looks very fresh & dewy (not greasy or shimmery)...I suppose you could say luminous; also this foundation doesn't make me look like a clown, and isn't absorbed into my skin.I apply the Luminous-Wear Liquid Foundation with this brush  Mary Kay Liquid Foundation / Makeup Brush . By putting a little foundation on the back of my hand & using the brush to spread it onto my face, it almost looks like my foundation is sprayed on. I would say that this is a medium coverage foundation; it doesn't cake & it doesn't highlight my wrinkles. The luminous foundation is for normal to dry skin. Mary Kay also has TimeWise matte foundation for oily skin.My daughter, a natural blonde, uses the Ivory 3 shade. She has a light, ivory complexion - no freckles. I use Ivory 6. I'm a natural strawberry blonde with light colored freckles. When I use sunless tanner, I mix Beige 1 with Ivory 6 so my foundation is a little bit darker.There are times in the summer when I revert back to using Mary Kay's Mineral foundation because this liquid one can be too shiny.I'm glad my Mary Kay consultant persuaded me to try this product. It's a 5 star foundation for me.

I have aging dry skin and this is the perfect coverage. It’s lite and covers all blemishes without a heavy application. You only need a tiny amount so this small tube used daily lasts me months. It covers smoothly. It actually helps my dry facial areas. Love it

It's one of the best foundation I've been using, particularly after weeks of trying it in winter. Easy to spread with so tiny bit amount as small as half a bean and your whole face can be covered. The quality feels good, very smooth and liquid - I was always seeking something that won't dry me out and peel the skin off after a whole day of wear, well, this definitely works. Besides, it's quite light, not much heavy as unnatural as some other foundation may make you look (particularly at "ivory"), while in the meantime it effectively veils flaws of skin like speckle, minor moles and pores, and enable all the parts of your face to gain the same level of gloss and color - just work as people would expect from a foundation. Overall, I so like it, it's definitely something I would recommend which normally I don't do! Especially for someone living in the dry and cold weather/zones, this definitely is a great buy.

I am fair skinned and this color was right on for me. The color does not change color after it is on awhile, the "luminous" effect is great. I am 69 yrs young and this coverage does not condense in fine lines like the pancake foundations do, actually the luminous effect makes lines disappear for me. Mary Kay is always a fine product. The only thing I have a problem with this product is that it has no sunscreen in it at all so you must apply a sunscreen moisturizing product under it and I need a product with sunscreen since I am so fair.

Ya tengo 1 año y medio utilizando estre producto y realmente me hace ver mi piel super natural, es muy suave y dura bastante tiempo puesto,hasta cuando vas hacer ejercicios. No produce alergias, realmente lo recomiendo.

Mary Kay is the best I have ever used.
