Curie Aluminum Free Deodorant - Grapefruit Cassis 2oz Stick - Natural Deodorant, Paraben Free, Cruelty Free, Non-Toxic

I am shocked at how well this product works. The reviews are pretty spot on. The stick is harder than other deodorants so you have to swipe it on a few times, but it doesn't bother me. I have worn this working out and it works like a charm. Going from clinical strength to this is such a pleasant surprise. I am so happy to have found a natural deodorant that works as well as clinical strength. The only "negative" things I have noticed are - the deodorant smells so good, but the scent doesn't really transfer onto you. So you will literally have no scent on you at all. Which is good, but the deodorant smells so good I almost wish the scent carried over onto my skin (I bought the grapefruit cassis scent). And the other thing is, while the deodorant doesn't transfer onto your clothes, your fibers from your clothing transfer all over the stick itself. There are fuzzies from my sweaters all over the stick. Not a big deal though, I will certainly be buying this deodorant from now on! I have only been using it for less than two weeks and I have already gotten two people to buy it!

Update*** The grapefruit scent leaves a very strange musty, wet dog, odor. It’s possible it’s from mixing with ones BO, but I can’t stand it so I am retiring the grapefruit scent. I am purchasing the white tea scent in hopes for a better experience. Still love that it has completely cured my itchy underarms! Original post: I’ve experienced itchy underarms for over two years and was advised by my dermatologist to try aluminum-free deodorant. Happy to report I haven’t experienced itchiness since I switched a week ago! As others mentioned, the application is not smooth, as this product is a bit firm. It’s easiest to apply before you put a shirt on; I have a much harder time getting a good application when I can’t lift my arm straight up to pull the skin tight. LOVE the scent. I don’t sweat much in general but it’s done a good job keeping me dry.

I was really hopeful about this deodorant since I've tried so many others in a search for a natural one that works. Unfortunately, it doesn't work and it's being returned. First, the smell is interesting, not at all like grapefruit which one would expect given the name. As a matter of fact, I looked at the ingredients and there isn't even grapefruit anything in this deodorant. There is "fragrance" listed with no other details. Whatever the smell is, it's strong and I am sensitive to scents and I couldn't stand the smell on me, then mix it with not blocking BO, and you get an over powering smell of scented cover up with your body's odor; not a good combo.

Smells great, Works well, for 1 day and then you start to smell. Leaves stains on the arm pits, though.

I saw this on shark tank so figured I would give it a try because the normal deodorant I use (Axe) doesn’t work very well. It actually works! I switched over to non-aluminum deodorant a few years ago cause I thought it might be better for my skin. Unfortunately the Axe deodorant I use does not last very long (I also sweat a lot) - my armpits usually smell good for a few hours and then smell bad. I saw this product on shark tank and figured I would try it, and am amazed at how good it is. It is much stickier than my other deodorant - when you apply it it’s kinda like a glue stick. But it smells pretty nice and it lasted 2 days without smelling bad!! My only ask is that maybe they can develop some other more “masculine” scents, as the only available options are fruity scents. Which still smell good, but sometimes it’s nice to have different smell. I will definitely buy this again!:)

Great all natural deodorant! I’ve tried several different brands and scents and this is by far my favorite! Last all day and smells yummy. However, It says grapefruit but smells more like citrus lemon/lime.. Still smells nice but I was looking forward to grapefruit:P

I saw this on Shark Tank first and was skeptical because I have tried soooo many different natural deodorants and none of them have worked the way I want them to. I have tried Schmidt’s, Lume, and Native. I am a sweater!!! And suffer from really bad shave burn and every natural deodorant I have used has worn off within half a day and irritates my pits. This one I can put on right after shaving in the shower and has actually HELPED with my irritation. It is completely gone now. Also, the scent lasts ALL DAY…and I mean ALL DAY! I smell just as good at the end of the as I did when I first out it on. I also noticed that I sweat way less with it! I am so happy and would recommend it to anyone who is struggling with natural deodorants and sensitivity.

While the scent was pleasant - grapefruit cassis - not overpowering, and appreciate aluminum free, don't mind paying a bit more for these kinds of products; however, the duration, did not last all day after showering. The other important reason for the 2 stars is that I am NOT happy with the quality of the product in that being a stick deodorant when you close the lid it "oozes" out the package & makes a mess! I don't know if it sat too long in the warehouse in the heat and the product melted or whatnot. We keep our home cool, so there is no reason for it to do this. Going to try the Lume brand that appears just as expensive and hoping for better quality. If you read reviews and are considering this product thought you should know.
