Overall good product, ok hardware, flimsy mousepad
This is a good product for the price. It's lightweight but feels stable and is very easy to install - just set the height of the shelf and secure it to the underside of your desk with 8 screws. A few things to note, though:1) I didn't measure my keyboard and mousepad beforehand, so the shelf wasn't as wide as I expected. If you have a full-size (104- or 108-key) keyboard, you most likely will not have room for a full-size mousepad on the tray, hence the mini-mousepad provided. If you're a gamer and need a standard or oversized mousepad or gaming mat and also have a full-sized keyboard, definitely buy a wider tray.2) The supplied mousepad is very flimsy and thin. Luckily, it's removable, and mousepads are cheap. The wrist rest is actually decent, but can also be removed or replaced.3) The 8 screws provided are ok, but if you want a more secure hold, I'd highly recommend using wood screws to attach the tray to your desk. Depending on what your desk is made of, you may want to drill lead holes beforehand. Also, while it's possible to install this alone, it helps to have a second person hold the tray in place while you're making marks for screw holes and screwing it in.

Perfect for what I need
I just built a new computer desk and needed a keyboard tray and this fit the bill. Several options for keyboard height and deep enough to hold my keyboard. Installation was easy enough and I positioned it so that it pulls out all the way, which means it sticks out around 3 inches when closed but that's not an issue. It's roomy enough for my keyboard and mouse and I like that they added cable openings, keeps them from getting in the way. Other reviews have mentioned there's no tray lock to keep it from sliding back while in use but I don't seem to have that problem. It stays in place while in use and slides easily back when I'm done. A great value for the price, I only have 2 minor criticisms. First is the keyboard tray is kind of slick, so my keyboard kept sliding around until I got some of that shelf liner for pantries and put that underneath. Also, there's a high lip on the front, which is probably ergonomic but will take some getting used to. It came with a (very small) mouse pad, which actually works quite well and a wrist rest, that I won't be using. All in all, for less than $40 it works quite well.

Great product!
I bought this product for my wife to improve her computer setting at home. Easy to install. The tray slides in and out so it is very convenient! I highly recommend !

Good keyboard drawer, easy to install with a few tools.
I don't usually write reviews, but this is a good product that I couldn't easily find. Other under desk mount types are very clunky and poorly made. The clamp style doesn't work for our desk set up.This is a sturdy under desk mount keyboard drawer that requires a #2 Phillips head screwdriver and either get self-tapping screws or a 1/8" drill bit to pre-drill holes using the supplied screws. It took me 30 minutes on desk 1, as needed to learn how to set the spacing. It took about 15 minutes on the second desk. If you have a screw gun and can drill a hole you can easily do this.We looked for weeks at multiple keyboards, all looked pretty bad. This Kensington model is well built, but not suitable for abuse/heavy use. We had the old Rubbermaid one similar one was discontinued; others looking similar are likely as flimsy as the old Rubbermaid model. This drawer slides even and smoothly with a soft "lock" when you push it in so it doesn't roll out. It looks good if you like black.

Ok for what I use it for
Nothing fancy, ok for price. Works at my hobby desk. Main issue I had was the screws kept loosening at every junction. I put it on a very cheap desk and don't plan on moving it so I just put glue in the problem areas/screw holes so the screws would stop loosening and then it was fine. It was easy to put together besides the loose screw problem. Multiple people in the house hold tried tightening them because I thought it was just me but they would go from super tight to loose almost immediately no matter who tried that's when I got the glue.

Roomy Tray
I was looking for a new under desk tray when I recently purchased a large new keyboard. This one is perfect for the keyboard and the mouse. The installation was not complicated, but it did take two people to do so -one as the installer and one as the assistant providing screws, flashlight, etc. It is very sturdy -- there is no bounce or movement of the tray when typing. It slides in and out very smoothly. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

Missing parts, horrible customer service
I am missing screws to be able to use this. I tried contacting the manufacturer directly. They can not send parts so I was told they would send a completely new one. After a few weeks they emailed me and said they hoped my issue was resolved and they were closing my request. I responded it had not been received and should not be closed. They responded apologizing and said again they were sending a new one. That new one still has not been received and it’s been almost 2 months since my original order. Will never order anything from them again.

Not bad - aka "Good Enough"
very frustrating to install on your own. Should have at least come with a marking template for drilling holes under the desk. I ended up using two 12 inch long 2x4's on either side as spacers - screwed the brackets into these and screwed these into the desk - this made installation a lot easier, and gave me enough space between the tray and the desk to fit my hands and my larger, ergonomic mouse, which did not fit even on the largest spacing given by the included brackets. also, the plastic itself has a little flex to it, which i plan to reinforce eventually; the given mousepad and wristwrest do not stay in place well and will have to be affixed with double sided tape; and the ridges in the back of the tray aren't large enough to reliably stop the keyboard from sliding back. But all told it was a fair price - with a little tinkering it works just fine and I'm happy.Considerations: with a full size keyboard, you may want to offset the tray to the right, so that the "home" keys on your keyboard (f and j) are centered with your computer screen.

Keyboard tray with height options for keyboard clearance under desk
I have a 50" wide x26.3" deep x 29.5" high curved front desk that needed a keyboard drawer that would fit under a 1.5" high x .5" deep frame running under the desktop, that varies from about 1.5" to 3" in from the outside edge because of the front desk curve. Taking some measurements, I knew I would have to use the maximum drop for the brackets to get under this frame, so no need to use the "smart fit" directions.First thing to note in assembling the keyboard tray is that the drawer sliders can be attached in only one orientation. Initially, not looking at the directions provided too closely, I lined up a slider and it looked like it was the wrong size as screw hole distance on the tray didn't match the distance for the holes in the brackets on the slider. Tried other side, same thing. Looked at pic in directions and watched online video of assembly and realized the sliders do fit. Take one slider and try on both sides, flipping until you get the orientation right. They will fit. Used middle bottom hole of long side of bracket to attach screw.Once assembled, had the desk upside down and placed the tray on the underside of the desk where I wanted it (short side of brackets screw into desk and long side of bracket hangs down as I was using maximum drop for the keyboard). Marked screw holes, pre-drilled holes and then screwed on. Front brackets were placed flush with the 1.5" frame that I had to get under. See attached pics.I have a K800 keyboard and there is about a 5/8" clearance between it and the 1.5" frame I had to get under (see pics). Keyboard is 18" wide and the tray is 24" wide, leaving adequate room for a mouse (mouse pad included). Note, a bulkier mouse may hit the desk when you close the tray. However, I have my mouse on a small table flush to my keyboard tray and find it ergonomically more comfortable (see pics).Keyboard tray slides in and out smoothly and feels solid and supportive. Maximum bracket drop allows sufficient clearance for keyboard. Directions straight forward (watch the online video if you have trouble). No missing parts. Would buy again.

Funcional y macizo
