My last Makita battery died. Perhaps it was damaged by keeping it in the charger when not in use. Well, I'm not doing that now - I'm only charging this when it needs it. It has made my Makita drill operate like new, it's well priced and appears to be well made. Saved me the cost of a new drill. I'm happy. May buy another as a spare.

Looks good now. Long term use will reveal quality.

I thought I would have to throw out my old Makita drill when the batteries finally died. This battery saved it. Almost 2 months later, with light use, the battery is still strong from first charge. Makita 6227D. Battery 1220.

Years ago I purchases a Makita 12v within the last month the battery's finally crapped out. So on a limb I purchased one of these hoping it would work. When it arrived I put the battery in the drill and it starting spinning. It even works with the charger that came with the drill, so no extra parts needed

Does not seem to hold the amount of mAh it claims. Gets super hot when charging and discharges quickly even when brand new. Just way to expensive for the performance and quality.
