This was my first experience with cloth elecrrical tape. I didnt realize they still made it and thougut it was only from decades ago, but it has a purpose. First impression was that it wasnt very tacky when i pulled my first piece. Boy was i wrong! This stuff sticks to itself like crazy! Another thing i liked was that it was easy to tear off. I purchased because im building a wiring harness for an old car and didn't want it to make any sounds in the vehicle if there were vibrations (vynil can squeak) Not quite there yet, but i liked it so much i ordered more (i always have several rolls of tape ready to go and this is my new arsenal)

This product is so easy to use, seems as if it doesn't have any adhesion but it surprised me. It's very string and made my wiring harness look incredible. I had made a few mistakes and unrolled the tape after a week, thinking that it wasn't going to work anymore to reuse the same tape over again. I was wrong. It worked and looked amazing as the first time. This is definitely worth the money. Just know that you have to wrap the tape onto itself in sections for a strong bond to occur. It won't really stick to the wire itself until you had started a diagonal spiral that has contact with section of the prior wrap. Very simple and effective to use. Highly recommended.

This is good for wire repair covering. It adheres to the wire that is being covered. Works well.

The tape worked great but wish it had slightly better adhesion. I currently use this for automotive wire looms and small electrical wiring bits like e-bikes and portable battery systems to help with wire protection. Tape works as expected just sometimes the adhesion seems to be less tacky than id like but so far so good.

It is what I ordered. Nothing super special but quality seems good and it is good as far as Harness tape goes. 5 stars legit. the little red tab under the end will help you get the roll started. Just know it is taped down a 1/4 inch into the roll. I found using a small pick to get under it, super easy to pull start the roll. That was a good way to package it. I've bought harness tape before and just beat it up getting it started. no need if they do it like these.

The older cars used this stuff instead of the ribbed plastic tubing so I am using it to restore a 1968 Impala. Tears easily but is still durable enough to hold and protect auto wiring. Well worth the purchase.

Really good tape for auto electrical and other uses. Good adhesion, yet the adhesive is not sticky and leaves no residue. Textile-type tape is flexible, easy to tear or cut, and conforms well to shapes.

While the tape fabric thickness is acceptable, the adhesive strength could be improved.
