Tie Boss Pulley with 12-Feet Rope, 1/4-Inch

The boss Pulley, either the 1/4" for light duty, or the 3/8" for heavier loads, can not be beat! I promise you will never use the old fashion ratchet straps again. The design is ingenious. Simple, but effective. So versatile, and QUICK! Not only is it way faster than the ratchets (I hated trying to figure out how to let more strap out, beginning the tightening every time you use them), but also can be used in places where the ratchet just cant be effectively used. For example, I use the Boss Pulley to secure my spraying tank to the back of my ATV. Due to the sharp angles to secure to the atv at the edge of the tank, a ratchet was all but impossible. With the boss pulley, tank is secured in less than 30 seconds. Ready to take the tank off, less than 10 seconds!

i have no idea what that other guy is talking about. this product does not require two hands, you let the rope go and the tension catches itself. i first saw this product at the international sportsmans expo at the cal expo in sacramento earlier this year. from the demonstration i thought it was a simple and effective idea. when i bought kayaks a couple of months ago i figured these would work perfect for getting them up in the rafters and out of the way, as they kind of double as a pully and a tie down. they did the job perfectly, no latter needed, just hoist them up over my head and let the rope go.

These things are great for hoisting my Old Town Rush kayak to the ceiling in the garage by myself. I used to have to get my husband to come out & help me struggle with hanging it up. Now it just takes me a minute to do it myself. I even drape our patio set cushions across the kayak & hoist the whole works up (keeps the mice from chowing the cushions in the garage during the off season!).I have a couple sets of these for various things & they're great.

Worked perfectly for my application. I buy sunflower seeds for my bird feeder in 50# bags. My storage containersn hold about 40 lb. If I leave the rest in the bag on the garage floor rodents will find it and chew through the bag. I hang the partial bag from a ceiling hook. Raising and lowering much easier with this. 4 stars because of price, otherwise 5.

I have several of these in a larger caliber rope and had a need for lighter work. These things are outstanding and I dont understand why I havent seen more of them. Sure grip, quck set up, easy break down. Of course Im still keeping my ratchet straps for very heavy loads, but these things are simply to handy to go with out.

The self locking feature is very handy when working alone. I have a larger set also that I use to hang a cargo box in my garage. The design of this device makes it very easy for me to install the cargo box on the roof of my car and then remove it when I no longer need it on the roof. Great product.

The 1/4 in is two feet shorter than the 3/8 version. I have both, just wish the 1/4 in was a little longer.
