Convenience Concepts Designs4Comfort Sheridan Storage Bench w / 2 Side Ottomans, Black

I purchased this set (black) during a sale.I was expecting a lot less for the price, but I'm finding that Convenience Concepts has some amazing furniture for really decent prices. I've been buying furniture for a house after several years of moving every six months for work - it's nice to find well made, beautiful furniture for such great prices. The local stores charge 3 to 4 times as much for the same pieces - insane!The look and feel (feels like butter; seriously) of this set is far beyond what I was expecting, and everything is stitched together well; no puckers or burps in the assembly of the material onto the frame. The large tray on the seat section of the main ottoman would sell for more than the price of the entire set. There is no assembly required for this piece(s), so I didn't have to play the allen wrench game. (thankyouthankyouthankyou!) The two smaller ottomans fit inside the main piece with a bit of room to spare, and are slightly shorter (as you can see in the pics on the site), which I find to be nice, as not everyone wants their feet at the same level they sit at. This was something I didn't really think about when I bought it; the main ottoman is the same level as our couch, and the smaller ones are just short enough to offer a bit of variation in height. Being a person on the short side myself, I've found the shorter little ottomans more comfortable for my size.This ottoman set is classy looking, and everything sits level, no tipping edges that teeter back and forth. I would buy other pieces of furniture from this company with no hesitation after my experience with this ottoman set. In standing back and looking at everything; a large ottoman, a large tray, two smaller ottomans - this is a lot of furniture for the price, and as I live in a VERY small house, the fact that everything can be stored away in the main piece when I need more space in the room is worth every penny on that feature alone!I am very happy with this purchase!No... wait, that doesn't begin to describe how I feel about this purchase..I am absolutely thrilled with how well it has worked for the small space, yet it still offers class - I. Love. It!

This ottoman is PERFECT. It is exactly what I wanted for my family room! I didn't want a coffee table, but wanted something to set down drinks and snacks, etc. I was going to look for an ottoman and then a tray to put on top. This ottoman solved my dillema. I can use it as a coffee table, as an ottoman to kick my feet up, as storage for blankets, and my kids love the little mini ottomans. They sit on them and eat on the tray of the large ottoman. SO VERSITLE!!! And it looks beautiful. You would almost think it's real leather. As far as the inside lining, it is not super durable, but it's fine. I don't see it being a problem and if it rips I really don't care, as long as the outside is fine. Also, the color is not black as some has stated. It is dark brown (espresso), just like a lot of furniture they are showing today. In low lighting it does almost look black but it is not. I have an espresso color entertainment center and two dark brown leather chairs and the ottoman matches perfectly! Also, Amazon had this $20 cheaper than Target plus free shipping, so the price can't be beat, especially for the quality. You won't regret buying this ottoman! Great for a busy family and perfect for entertaining!

Great color, works fantastic in our space. The little cubes are super lightweight but tuck away in places and gives a variety of places for locking your feet up. I wish they had storage as well. The large ottoman is very sturdy and hard walls for storage. Those fold up ones such! Get this instead. The only thing I hate, but I understand why they are there, are the tabs to pull the top off for a serving tray. I just cut them off because they look really cheap. Would absolutely but again.

I have had this item in my living room for two months now. I cannot believe the deal we got on these things! $56 for what seems to be a high quality good. Well, at a minimum, we're two months of heavy use in and it is acting like it is high quality. We use these items daily for our feet, meals, storage, and sitting. They are receiving what I believe is the heaviest possible use anyone reading this description could be using them for. They have maintained their quality look while exceeding their value proposition.I do not want to mislead anyone. You could likely find something that will last longer, not warp at all, and look like a million bucks at a designed furniture store. And yes, there is a slight slant to one of the four sides of this item. I saw a beautiful $1,000 foot stool I liked at Macy's before purchasing this set. It looked nearly identical to this one and even turned into a table like this product. But c'mon, we're comparing $1,000 vs $55. I know one could tell the difference between the two, but not necessarily immediately. So are you really willing to spend $1,000 for a real leather foot stool? Or maybe spend $55 and get 3 foot stools instead. It's your choice. For my money - and I shopped a lot before choosing to go cheap on this - well, I'm glad I went cheap. I'm enjoying the functionality and utility of this set and it came with basically no price tag at all.
