I installed this on an 8 foot ceiling at work. Too bright for that low of a ceiling. Not that it puts out too much light but the LEDs are tough to look at. You can see them through the clear cover and it hurts the eyes. Not just looking directly at them, but looking in the direction of them it is uncomfortable. I painted the cover white and it helped but I do not know if the paint will peel as it gets old.On the other hand, I may use these at my home when I build a shop. I think they will be great for high ceilings. If they made a frosted cover (when I asked they did not at the time) I would definitely be in to buy them again.

Wow this is a bright light. But also very cool, light temperature wise. I have this in a shop with a few florescent, and its very clear which one is the LED. This is a pure white, maybe slightly blueish. But its also lightweight, and the installation is easy so long as you have something sturdy to attach the clips into. Also, just FYI, this is a fixture, not a bulb. Youll need to purchase a cord to wire this in, as it comes with a 6 inch pigtail with no plug.

The light is not white. It's more of a blue "cool" light. Most when people think white they think warm and these are not warm. The install is very easy and they are bright, but the throw of light is not as intense as some state. I replaced t5ho with these and the ho's appeared brighter. These will work fine and disperse the light with a less blinding effect than The t5. Not disappointed by any means, but if you are looking to light a detail oreiented bay I'd pass.

Excellent color, mounts incredibly easy. I’m using mine for my workbench which the light is only 2.5 feet above the workbench surface. Excellent lumens for my needs. Only complaint was that there was no cord with 120v plug end provided but it did not say there should be.Very happy looking to buy others for my shop spaces as well.

Probably OK, except the connectors are non-standard and apparently unavailable. They are too short to be practical, so light have not been installed since purchase. UPDATE: Could not get vendor to understand the connector problem, so connected the four 8 foot units with a work-around. However, withing two hours of installation one 4 foot section of a tube stopped working. I have not been able to get response from vendor.

This fixture is a very bright, white light that works beautifully on our ice cream truck. We needed a nice fixture to illuminate the outside serving window and menu area of the truck for evening hours; this lights up that and much more easily and the light is a nice cool lighting so it's not harsh on the eyes. It was simple to install and we hope to be using for long time.

I got what I ordered. The product was as described on the web site. It arrived in a timely manner. Works as advertised.

Wow, these are nice. Yes, the cord is short, but easy to lengthen. Compared to $90 at the local home improvement store, these are a no-brainer.
