USPS Will Not Accept
I purchased these tubes to send little Oscar Award party favors to people overseas as well as in the United States. The tubes definitely would have kept them from being crushed during shipping. They are quite sturdy and the caps stay on the ends tightly without taping them. In fact I needed small pliers to get the caps off once secured.However, the US post office, UPS, and Staples all told me that they are considered irregular, and that they would not allow me to ship them. I had to buy bubble envelopes, at a larger size than what was necessary for the item, so that the customs declaration tags could be taped on them. The packages did arrive undamaged, but the $20 I spent on these tubes was wasted.

Robust
Perfect solution for my problem - secure transport of delicate electronic vacuum tubes. Far superior to the folding boxes commonly used. Bravo!

Cardboard shipping tubes
Not much to say about these except they are what you would expect. A cardboard shipping tube. Ends stay in nicely, but I still taped because I wanted to make sure the ends would stay on during transport. My customer said the tube got there without issues... they work for what they were designed for.

Great tubes for crafting
I bought these tubes to make a Christmas tree shaped wine advent calendar for my sister in law. I saw a picture online and recreated it using 24 of these tubes and taping them together with decorative Christmas tape. It turned out perfectly and my sister in law loved it! The best part is, we can refill it every year with anything that'll fit. The lids are a little bit tight to take on and off, but not impossible. The tubes are very sturdy and would be great for other crafting and of course for the intended purpose of shipping items.
