TOMSIN Metal Buttons for PS4 Controller, Aluminum Metal Thumbsticks Analog Grip & Bullet Buttons & D-pad (Dark Grey)

These do exactly what they say they will do. I've read a lot of reviews where folks mention that the sticks are not to spec, or the buttons are too big... I guess I disagree. I feel like, those folks, probably didn't have the technical ability to install and yes you do need a little technical ability. If you have never cracked open an electronic device before (you know... out of curiosity) than this isn't for you... you'll just screw it up. But, if you know someone with a little ability, then I recommend these. Here is what I like... I like the feeling of the buttons. Everything is cold. I like cold. I like dark. Things close to my heart... and yes I just rhymed. They look sharp but MOST importantly... I play Souls with these... why? Because I play SO much that I wear through a plastic stick in about 3 months. Not kidding. This is important because once you get the "groove" in the stick (the stick is made of softer plastic than the case on a standard PS4 controller... any generation) you will have "stick drift". Now, I can play a lot of games with stick drift... it is annoying, but possible. I will not play Dark Souls with a controller that drifts. This setup was the perfect solution for me. So... if you are like me and have indeed cracked open electronics "just because" and have a love for a game that requires a ridiculous amount of forward stick movement... than this is for you. Also... Dr_Banzai... that is my PS4 handle. If you ever see me online for a Souls match... 'prepare to die'... I'm 22 controllers into my practice (prior to this new setup) and since then... I've had just one controlled (and that was years back... granted, I did just get a new controller and a new set of sticks... but, that was due to a fire... and that is another story for another review: Did you know I writer review stories? I do... I digress)... I'm saying I've played 10,000 hours of Souls... easily. So, buy a set of these buttons/sticks... then bring your A game...

I've got a gen 1 dualshock 4. The directional pad and the analog sticks fit perfectly. Didn't put the shell casings on so can't speak to those but I'm sure they're fine.Really really like the feel of these sticks and buttons. Should be able to zoom in on the picture I posted and see the raised lines that go across. I'm sure they don't do anything but it looks cool and feels cool on my thumb. The sticks...I'm mad at Sony for not selling the DS4 with an option for metal analogs. The weight feels great and don't ever have to open my controller to install these beauties so I couldn't ask for more.Obviously you have to take your controller apart to use it but you can find plenty of videos on YouTube on how to do it. If you can follow instructions, you can do this.

These thumb sticks do NOT properly fit the PS4 controller. The hole is too deep, causing the stick to sit very low inside, leaving a large gap between then base of the stick and the ring of the controller (it also appears that the underside of the base rubs against the corners of the axis stick's base). They also slide freely up and down on the axis stick. One other issue is when you click down on the thumb sticks (for R3 and L3) while the stick is on the edge, it is hard to activate the press because the head of the stick collides with the outer ring of the controller. Lastly, even if you order black, you'll still receive green (I exchanged mine and still got green).I did not test the trim pieces (IE the button replacements and the D-pad replacement).I would NOT recommend this set based on the flawed thumb sticks. Instead, you should look into buying the aluminum thumb sticks from either Buwico or E-mods. Those two both fit the controller properly. The preference being the Buwico brand ones, be sure to read my review for those two units to decide which one is best for you.Edit: I began having thumbstick drift symptoms after using these. There was damage to the internal sensor of the analog sticks. I had to have both thumbstick mechanisms replaced.

Bought this set to replace a worn out PS4 controller. Guess it wasn't so much the thumbsticks as it was the actual controller itself, but, they were easy to install & they look & feel awesome! Great control and smooth motion. Plus they are aluminum so the little nub on the end of the thumbstick won't wear off with extended use! So easy to install, I just followed a YouTube video, 10 minutes later I was back in the game!

Cons first, must be heard, Sept, 19 2020, the analogs do not properly fit. They seat too low or are mis-shaped and rub against the the joystick itself(connected to the motherboard) its a scary thought it might cause analog drift or damage in general. Although the picture above, i had put them in. i after realized it after playing it and hit the corners of the joystick. I immediately removed the metal thumbsticks, highly disappointed, that was the one sought for things i wanted from this package.So i have mixed feelings, the d-pad is fine, most bullet buttons are perfect, one slightly wiggles but it looks fine. Just wish i could get metal analogs for my controller that actually fit.

These buttons are so cool, and they look and feel fantastic in my controller! They were affordable and simple to install. I love that the D pad is textured for grip. I initially wanted a full set of buttons that all fit, but I also loved that these specific buttons stand out on my controller.There are two things I've noticed while gaming that consumers might find useful. The action buttons rattle a little as if they are not quite a tight fit, but they still work well. Also, if I am playing something that requires heavy use of the joysticks, the design makes my thumbs a little sore. Overall though, I love them, and I'm satisfied with my purchase. Thank you!

It was a cheap way to extend the life of my controller which I had rubbed through the original joysticks. Watch a You Tube Video or two before starting. You will need tweezers for removing some parts. It helped me to have some type of magnification, particularly when I accidentally knocked off one of the pin covers and needed to put it back on. It took about 15 minutes including watching a video and dropping a few parts on the floor.

左スティックが削れるのが嫌で金属の物へ換装したく、購入しました。アナログスティック:純正よりも若干高さがあり操作感は変わるかもしれません。高い分ストロークがのびるので、精密な操作はし易くなるかも知れません。スティックの縁を倒すように操作する方は問題ないでしょうが、中心円内のすり鉢状に指を置いて操作する方は、純正と違い、滑り止めが無い為操作の難を感じる方もいらっしゃるかも知れません。また、適当にはめただけだと倒した際に引っかかりますが、引っかからなくなる位まで押し込んで、真っ当に使えるようになると、スティックを外す場合かなりキツくて大変です。方向キー:カバーの(中心)支点の突起と合わさるはずの丸い凹みが若干小さい為、純正よりも奥に沈みます。上下左右入力への影響は感じませんが、斜め入力に影響が出るかも知れません。また、キーに斜めのモールド加工がされていますが、滑り止めの役目は果たしませんので、デザインと割り切って下さい。4ボタン:薬莢部分を見せたい為か、純正よりもかなり高さがありますが、押し込みのストロークは変わりありません。また、ボタンの回転を抑えている支点が、純正4点なのに対し、2点(直線:□○は━、△×は┃)しかない為、支えのない方(□○は上下、△×は左右)に多少グラつきがあります。プラスドライバーとカバー開けの際に便利なオープナーが1点ずつ、カバーの予備ネジx4が付属している事と、アナログに関しては満足していますが、それ以外は少し残念でした。

純正のスティックが削れてカスが出るので交換｡スティックは動きもスムーズで､色もきれいでとてもよいです。ただ十字ボタンがたまに引っ掛かる。コントローラーが部品ごと､好きな色に変えれるところがスゴく良いです｡

他にも同じものが多数あるけど安かったので購入。アナログスティックにKontrolFreekは付けられるが、メタル素材もあって、くるくる回る。素材感もいいし、いい色だし(自己満足)右の十字ボタンに○X△□があるといいのにねぇ。

左スティックが削れたため購入本体カラーが迷彩仕様だった為、あえてゴールドカラーを購入。けっかは画像のように完璧でした。新品でも多少の小傷はありますが許容範囲内です。いい買い物でした。

自家塗装したコントローラーに実装しました。ボタンも塗装しようかと思いましたが、こちらのアルミ製にしても面白いかと思い購入。品質はまぁまぁ良好。少し塗装前のキズがありましたが気にならない程度でした。耐久性は使っていかなくては分かりませんが、普通の使用方法なら問題無くもちそうです。強いてあげるならボタンのカチカチ音がデカくなるのが難点かなと。
