A great IP camera that doesn't force a proprietary app
Right off the bat, this does not require a flash browser plugin to view live video as some are claiming. Maybe in some older firmware revisions that was the case, but not so anymore. Another thing to be aware of, this camera does not support WPA3 or even WPA2/WPA3 mixed modes. It will connect to the network but will never actually respond to anything on the network. This wasn't a big deal for me, I just simply changed my 2.4GHz wifi to WPA2 only and it was fine.Setup required no use of their software. I simply connected it using an ethernet cable for the initial setup and obtained the IP from my router admin page. The default hostname is IPCam so it's very easy to find.I accessed the camera using the IP, got everything configured to my liking, and then mounted them where I wanted them. These support ONVIF and RTSP, adding them in to iSpy Agent DVR was quick and easy, correctly auto detecting the stream URL for ONVIF and RTSP, whichever you prefer to use. The manual will tell you that you have to use their software for initial setup but that's not the case if you know how to find the IP.IP cameras that don't require any sort of proprietary cloud software is a dying breed. Amcrest and Foscam used to be my go-to but many of their cameras require their proprietary software, only a few models remain that allow you to use them exactly in the way you want to.Moving on to quality. They seem to be well built, while they are cheap, there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with the construction and functionality. Image quality is decent, it's not the sharpest image but it's more than usable and it's what I expected given the price point. The different night vision modes also work well, no issues in low light situations. The water proof caps for the ethernet port should you wish to run them hardwired (one of mine is connected this way) is a nice touch, though I'm confused as to why they don't also have something similar for the power. The plug appears to be threaded so it seems to me that they developed it with that in mind but then decided not to.Overall everything meets my expectations at a minimum, but really I am pleasantly surprised with everything. Even the firmware isn't buggy garbage as far as I can tell.Highly recommended!

The zoom on this one is AMAZING! The Perfect Camera.
I have an entire setup of cameras from SV3C for years now, my first ones are from 8-0 years ago, 720P resolution, and they still work (been under the sun and rain for almost a decade). So I kept on buying them and renewing the stock for my 2 homes. This one is definitely the BEST CAMERA I tried from them. Adding to the usual great performance of CAM HI app and HiP2p PC client (the camera is compatible), and the outstanding image quality, now we add a superb optical zoom! 20 X....Ia had a 5x one from them and was already amazing, but this one is just incredible.Pros:1. CAMHI is my favorite, easy to setup the camera with the Lan search feature (recommended to first connect with wire to router, then setup the wifi, then take to the final place and install).2. Outstanding case. The camera looks solid, like to last forever.3. ONVIF certified (compatible with any Onvif PC clients like Blueiris and HiP2P)4. Easy to mount.5. Very Good Wifi range.6. Great 2 way audio. The microphone captures noise from far away, it is surprising how far it goes.7. Smart tracking of humanoid form works like a charm.8. Image quality at both day and night is outstanding.9. Continuous SD recording with Web access (thru the app or pc client), without the need of paying a recurring fee for cloud.10. The movement of the camera is fast, and easy to control.Cons.No cons....I honestly don't see a downside on this one. Perfect Surveillance camera.

AMAZING CAMERA - GREAT VALUE!
The media could not be loaded. I’ve previously purchased SV3C products before but this one for sure takes the cake! Pretty awesome camera for the value! I’ve previously owned “Ring” cameras as well as Costco cameras. Most are usually problematic when it comes to the power source and internet connectivity. I’m going to outline the Pro’s and Con’s about this camera. I was going to give it 4 stars but when you compare it with other cameras currently in the market as of 2022, you can’t beat the price, service and overall features.Pro’s:The camera itself swivels pretty nicely. Once you get used to it, you can see how it can be moved 180 degrees left to right and up and down. The ZOOM feature can zoom up to 18X. It does take a while to zoom but you can see how CLEAR the feature is (the video shows the plant through the bushes). The alarm is LOUD!!! Very loud! About 2-3 times louder than the smaller SV3C (5mp model).Night vision is clear as you can see. The color is vivid and most activity (criminal at least) happens between 2-4am which is when most people are asleep. While thefts do occur during the day, it seems that timeframe is PEAK for criminals. The app (CamHi) is fairly easy to use. The language isn’t great but it’s definitely understandable and easy to follow once you get the gist of things. The camera is very sturdy and can withstand very high winds!!! Today winds were at 35MPH and the camera didn’t move.Con’s:The humanoid feature is NOT as strong as the smaller version but I figured this out AFTER the camera was upside down. The camera CAN swivel a FULL 180 degrees on ALL sides. So it’s pretty hard figuring out which side is UP or DOWN. Once the orientation is correct, the humanoid alarm DOES go off. I wish the camera could say: “this side up or this side down”.Moving the camera DOES take a while. If you are connected directly to the internet (hard connection) then it’s easier to use. Mine is on wifi and the camera is outside. Closest wifi is about 300ft. So my 1GBPS turns out more like 5mbps outside the house. The power cord could be a little longer. Mine was JUST long enough to be placed in the middle but I wish there was an extra 5-10ft of length to allow the camera to be placed just about anywhere.Overall the benefits FAR outweigh the Con’s. The Con’s are more a personal taste and concern for me. I can see why they did what they did (set up). It’s pretty impressive and for what the product offers, it seems to be worth the cost. Maintenance was a bit more difficult than usual given that I placed my camera about 20 feet UP (center of the house). I installed a small wood square that was secure to another piece of wood before securing the camera onto that platform (see pictures). If you have never installed a camera like this, I would recommend you pay a professional installer as this is not an easy thing to do. Installed ANY camera this high up is NOT easy. You have to be very careful and ensure it is secure. I hope this review helps you make a decision as other reviews helped me make mine.

Despite limited instructions, this isn't difficult to install or set up, and works well.
I've had a play around with this for a couple of weeks but only just found the time to install it. I have a couple of internal cameras but nothing outside and liked the idea of having a camera I could use to keep a watch over the drive and our vehicles. As always, the issue with external cameras is routing the power to them. I had a satellite dish fitted a long time ago no which was no longer being used, so pulled out the cable for that and fed the power lead through the hole to the outside of the bedroom. The camera was fitted to the front of the house, with the cable fixed using a couple of ties and cable clips.Installing an internal card (I had a spare 32Gb Toshiba micro SD so used that) is a bit fiddly and requires disassembly of the camera, but only needs doing the once. It would be good if the manufacture included instructions on how to do this, I had to look it up separately. The camera is fairly straightforward to set up. Downloading the app and connecting via a supplied Ethernet Cable to the router provides the only method of initial access. Via the app wireless settings (basically the password) can be entered. Then disconnecting the Ethernet means it's wireless only, which is what most uses will no doubt want, myself included.Once installed and configured it is easily accessed via the app, which also allows features such as auto emailing, duration and quality of recording, etc., to be set.The instructions aren't great, a leaflet that explains the basics but not much else, it doesn't include information regarding opening up the camera to install the SD card, for example. But there are videos on YouTube for this and other reviewers have provided useful guides.Quality of image is great, and the ability to access via a variety of software is a big plus. I use VLC Media Player and accessing the camera via this is very simple (rtsp://192.168.1.9:554/11 - replace the 9 with the address your router allocates to the camera) providing live streaming to your PC or other device without the need for downloading additional software.I'm very pleased with the quality and functionality provided by this camera, it's well worth considering by anyone looking for a low priced single camera security system, thought the App looks like it should be able to handle multiple cameras if required.

Nice bullet camera
Firstly SV3C is a great seller, I had an issue with the first camera but they sorted that out very efficiently. The camera does everything you need from a bullet camera and does some of them better than most.I have had a lot of cameras over the years and still find wired better as wifi can drop and have lagging issues that means sometimes your images are useless. This is getting better all the time and thanks to my wifi setup there are no dead spots and the wireless camera locations are constantly over 18mb upload and 60mb download so I can't comment on how they would cope on a single wifi router with lower speeds. I use this camera via onvif and it hooks up to one of my DVRs, the downside is that onvif doesn't pull through the motion detection but I use my ftp server for this and this camera works really well in that it puts the images in date order sub folders, better than some of my cameras that put them all in a single folder so it makes it longer to load and difficult to find the ones you are after. Big plus for this. The image quality is great, 1080p. You can see faces from a fair distance and actually identify people from it. Setup is easy, you have a few ways to do it but I used the way that means you connect to your wifi through the app and then the app plays a sound to the camera when you hold your phone to it which allows it to connect to the network. First time I've used this sort of setup and I think it is easier than connecting to the camera via wifi first.ProsGreat 1080p image qualityFTP folder is done in date sub foldersWorks via onvif for use with a DVRSupports a decent sized micro sd if not using a DVRGreat low priceGreat field of viewConsNot really any but onvif isn't as good as netip for connecting to a DVR as it doesn't pull through the motion detection. I knew what I was getting though and for the price it's a really good camera

Good camera; good price; very poor instructions
I have a number of security cameras, and being at the seaside - literally by the beach - they don't last.I'd been paying around £150 per camera and replacing them annually. This one was £100 less expensive. How long it will survive the sea air remains to be discovered, but it has a very good picture and strong WiFi.It's let down by the pathetic instructions that are provided, and the ones available on-line are little better. For example, I wanted to fit an SD card. I read I had to remove the lens cover to access the slot and then remove four tiny screws. I struggled with the lens cover and eventually discovered that it had to be unscrewed. In fact unscrewing was the first thing I tried, but initially that didn't work. I returned to try unscrewing again after everything else failed and at my second attempt, using a rubber glove for better grip, it came off.But there were no tiny screws. I contacted their help line by email and received a response within 12 hours that pointed-me to a video of how the card should be inserted. The video showed I had to remove a black adhesive cover that was not mentioned in the support notes. That done I could see the four very small screws. Good job I had a little cross-head screwdriver that was magnetic!

Impressed, good quality camera at a cheap price
Very impressed with this camera. The picture quality is excellent. Easy to setup and install. No need for network wires or a DVR.The software and instructions can take a while to set up, the first time. The software is not the best and neither are the instructions, but you shouldnt have difficulty getting the basic functions to work.A few tips which hopefully help other users.1) You can access the camera on your browser by typing in the camera IP address (which you can find in the app - Device Settings). There are far more options to access here.2) You can access the SD card from the browser (direct at 192.168.1.xx/sd) and view the photos and videos. I was only able to play the videos in their video player which you can access on their website3) As others have reported, there is a slight delay in the video being recorded, from when the alarm is triggered (around 3-5 seconds). I therefore found it was best to have the SD card recording 24/7 and then triggering an alarm recording when the alarm was set off. That way, you had a recording before the new "alarm file" begins and no gaps in the footage.4) You can view the camera in your browser (with a plugin) or VLC player at rtsp://192.168.1.xx:554/11 (HD) and rtsp://192.168.1.xx:554/12 (SD). You can change the quality of the 2 streams in the app or browser. You can view the streams on a smart TV using an app, or just have your PC act as a media streamer through a program like Serviio.5) Reduce the alarm sensitivity to around 15% to avoid it being triggered by wind/flies6) Reduce the stream quality/bit rate if you are having buffer problems (this will be due to WIfi signal)

one worked fine the other did not work
I ordered 2 of these, one works fine but the other the sensor does not work, tried to get it to work, but will not light up when you get in the sensor range so I guess it is faulty
