Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash, Vol. 1 (manga)

Well paced great story arc. Gritty even. Enjoyed the introduction to the world. Definitely planning to read the next volumes.

Realistic adaptation of being thrust into a game world, without knowledge of games and modern technology or your own past! The animation is one of my favorite styles and the story is well written and detailed. I am constantly looking forward to the next adventure/story of the protagonists.

I'm into more dark work of fiction and fantasy. I think this series is a great for it simply story tell and it more focus on the character hit a few bullet point I like. Teamwork, personality and most importantly to me the characters will criticize each other in story that help a reader focus more on the story. In all honest the location of event, magic system, and world building take a back seat with the characters more focus on living in the world and figuring out how to not only survive but to improve on themself not only a soldier but as people over all.

Like it a lot more than the anime. It has that nice dark feel to it if your into that.

Faithful to the light novel .exciting to read . I was worried it would follow the storyline of the anime instead but doesn't.

As someone that plays MMOs aka WoW, I really enjoyed this manga. I can't wait for the next volume.

A newbie perspective in what seems to be a gaming world...

I bought this after watching the anime, and was unpleasantly surprised to find out that the kindle version of this is actually the manga version. If you want to get the actual light novel version go to the one with the same cover art under the search of "grimgar of fantasy and ash vol 1". Luckily I was able to catch the mistake fast enough and get a refund.

It was interesting but, meh… lazy writing despite the beautiful art. Only a few pages in and unnecessary things are said or done which kind of turned me off from the series. No creativity or anything interesting, just your typical manga that lacks any actual innovation.

Sin duda un gran manga, me gustó bastante. El anime es mi favorito de fantasía. Voy por el siguiente tomo.
