Don't buy the Kindle version - too restrictive
The information in this book is really good. It's well written, it's well put together, it's easy to follow, and the info is top notch. So, why did I give it only 1 star? Well, sadly almost all the reasons to purchase this book on Kindle have been torpedoed by over the top restrictions that make the Kindle version severely limited. No text to speech, no x-ray, no word wise, no enhanced typesetting, and you are only allowed to downloaded this to two devices. If you downloaded it to a device that you later decide you don't want it on, you have to go through the procedure of DEREGISTERING THE DEVICE to remove the book. Even when the book is deleted, it still counts as one of the two downloads; be careful what device you have it automatically sent to when you purchase it!!!In addition, the way the book is formatted is identical to the print version. That means that the text does NOT adjust in size to the screen it is on. It's like reading a pdf. If you try to read it on your phone, you will need a frigging magnifying glass!!!! What this means is that the only type of device you will actually be able to read this on, is one that has a screen at least 12" across. That rules out most tablets and phones. Great on something like an iPad Pro or on your computer, but hopeless on anything else. So, to summarise, this "Kindle" version, won't allow you to read the book on a wide variety of devices due to formatting and download restrictions; won't allow the use of text to speech, even through services such as "Voiceover" on an iPad; won't allow you to use x-ray to move around the book quickly; doesn't have much in the way of links; and will force you to go through a procedure of deregistering your device and re-downloading all of your books, if you decide to remove it from a device.Until the publisher brings out a PROPER Kindle version, this should be treated with caution in this format. On the positive side, at least they still allow you to use highlights.
