Pinaud Beard Balm – Nourishing & Conditioning Beard Balm for Men, Strong Hold, 2 oz

Pinaud is my go-to for shaving products for many years, and this balm doesn't disappoint. Moisturizes and controls your beard and skin nicely, with only the very faintest scent reminiscent of the Clubman aftershave - but once again it is extremely faint. You could use a different aftershave and it won't clash or smell weird. Not greasy. I'm an old guy not impressed with these "SasquatchLumberjackHe-ManTacticalViking" named brands now that beards are back in vogue. I'll stick to the brand that has been delivering for men since 1810.

This is a good beard balm to use. A paste over a gel type of balm. Works better than the gels in taming my curly beard hairs.

I have bought several jars, some from the local drugstore, some from Amazon, and have had different textures in all of them. Most of the time, the balm is creamy and works into my goatee well; sometimes the balm is dry and waxy and doesn't soften or cream in my hands, and will leave sticky, waxy clumps in my beard. I have a lotion style tube from Clubman that I work into the dryer jars and that seems to correct the issue, but I would definitely prefer that the balm is always the same creamy texture in every jar. When the product is soft and creamy, I love it! It smells decent (it pairs well with my face cream) and leaves my beard soft and shapeable.

This is BY FAR the best beard and mustache balm I have ever had. I have used various products for the past 40 years, and all I can say is "How did I not find this years ago?!" To me, it's the perfect consistency. Not too dry. Not too wet. Not too oily. I have a handlebar mustache with a full beard. It keeps my beard and stache soft with just a slight hold. I will be throwing out all my other (and often expensive) products. This along with my Boss man Mud is all I need. Also, if you are like me and are sensitive to various scents. This one is SO mild. It doesn't bother me one tiny bit. And, the scent doesn't affect my cologne scent. GREAT product! I will be a lifelong customer!

I like the smell of this ,but the consistency is a bit weird .It seems to hold pretty well without being sticky ,it kinda reminds me of pudding though. For the price it's decent,but I think there are better options in the same price range .

I’ve purchased Clubman Beard Balm several times. It’s the best beard balm I’ve ever tried (and I’ve tried quite a few). However, when I received this most recent shipment that changed. When I opened the beard balm, I found that the top was not screwed down tightly, so the product inside had dried out. Instead of the normal opaque white, this was somewhat translucent ivory, and felt like petroleum jelly. (see picture of this new shipment vs the very end of my last jar, you can see what it’s supposed to look like.) it’s so hardened that it’s challenging to even get any on my finger. And when I do, it’s just a greasy mess. Totally unusable.

This works great. I just wish it was unscented.
