My pupper did not handle the transition from Summer to Fall very well this year. Her skin was dry and she itched until she had open wounds (and kept itching after that, too). I remembered that my mother used to give our animals brewer's yeast when I was growing up, so I bought this little container to give it a try. My dog LOVES this stuff, I mix in 1/2 tsp with each meal and she sits so patiently waiting for me to back away. She used to not care when we fed her, and she'd get around to eating whenever she felt like it (WEIRD, I know!). Her skin is much better now, plus she really enjoys breakfast and dinner. I'll keep buying brewer's yeast, even in the warmer months.

Horrendously bitter, and I'm a bitterness pro. I down raw turmeric three times a day for 15 years now, and I take Prednisone, a fiendishly fast-dissolving med with a hatred for taste buds. So, if I say that this is bitter? Yeah, you can trust it. (They claim this is "debittered." God help us then an undebittered version.) You have other choices. Use them. I am out ten bucks with no recourse. You don't have to be.

I ordered it because I heard it could increase breast milk supply, which it did in time. However, the smell made me stop using it after a short time.

I got this for my ducks so I have not used it myself. It is a fine powder, I put it in their food and they eat it. Seems like they are eating it with no problem.

I mix this product with V8 juice, so I cannot rate the flavor (I don't like the taste of brewer's yeast, so I mix it with the V8 juice.)It is also a great probiotic.

My cat started ripping her hair out and after multiple trips to the vet with little help, my s-i-law told me about this. It is usually used on canines for hot spots on their coats but it works on cats too. 1/4 teaspoon a day mixed in wet food with water. Make sure your pet gets plenty of water.

Was advised to take brewer's yeast to be unappealing to mosquitoes. For me, it works! Love the added nutritional benefits too.
