Q: is it 100% vegetarian ?? what about the gelatin in the capsules

the Capsules are vegan. Veg Caps. No animal gelatin involved. Been around for years.

Q: Does this product help with prostrate?

Saw Palmetto helps keep a healthy prostate healthy. Most notably is that it helps prevent enlarging of the prostate which is related to difficult/frequent urination, but in many cases it may help reduce an enlarged prostate over time which results in improved urination.

Q: Are these gel tablets?

I think they call these gel tablets but they are not the squishy gummy feeling tablets. These are the type that come in two halves. Kinda hard but dissolve easy.

Q: Which form of saw palmetto would be better at promoting hair growth: the berries or the extract?

This version seems more effective at problems with unwanted facial hair, and I have lost several pounds since starting this over the NOW Saw Palmetto extract. Only taking one capsule daily, but the berries have more mg per pill compared to the extract. Saw palmetto seems to elevate my blood pressure somewhat.
