Durability and kids classic animal figurine toy
Durability is a must when it comes to toys for my kid he tends to be a bit rough and so far this has held up nicely The quality is good doesn't look super fake the paint job is a lot more realistic than some I've seen we've had it for well over a month still plays with it daily so I would recommend not only this one but this brand of similar animals also I like to get things that are typically from the same brand and I've bought quite a few from this one so I highly recommend if you like durability like me.

Very nice quality and detail - worth the price
I purchased this item, along with the Schleich Crocodile (add-on item) which was half the price. This is made of a very sturdy plastic and has a nice weight to it. The mold and paint job are also very detailed and the moving bottom jaw is a really nice detail. As you can see from the photos, the Alligator (green) is a bit smaller than the Crocodile (brown). I have no idea if this is accurate to nature, but just stating in the event anyone is looking to compare these two items.I am very happy with both and plan to keep them. If I had to choose one over the other I'd choose the Croc, due to it being half the price and larger, and the fact that my 3 year old doesn't know the difference yet ... but both are of equal and excellent quality, depending on which species you want.Highly recommend.

Looks like a scale model of an alligator rather than a toy.Movable jaw.Hard plastic and heavy - like the kind that will cause injury if thrown and pain if stepped on.Does not float or bend, again hard plastic.4 stars because it took one throw out of the bathtub onto tile to chip paint off the nose.

We love Schleich products! They are pricey but worth every penny!! They will last forever! This one has a movable moth too! So cool!
