ok i agree with the smell part but it goes away
I had this for close to a year now and it works fine in my new truck. It was easy to install, i just looked up a youtube video and i think it took me no more than 15 min. It had an unusual plastic odor at first but it went away after a while, maybe 6 days? I just drove around with the windows down, no biggie it was summer in CA. After initial costs i think it was worth it. No driving to the store, no worrys about filters being out of stock or spending more money because you purchased other things you didnt plan on buying.

Love KN filters!!! Saves tons of $$$ and they work great!
This is the second car now that I have bought KN filters for. Like always they are a great fit, easy to clean, and save me tons of money in replacement filters!!I always save the old standard filters as I let the KN filters dry for about 24-48 hours. I use the old standard filters while the KN ones are drying. Works out great! Every time I get an oil change the mechanics are impressed that I know about them and always tell me I am good to go!

Awesome quality and smells so much better!
Really love K&N filters, have one in my engine intake also. Love the reusablility of them (though sometimes i do question the environmental impact of the cleaners!!) so that's why I got this one (also because mine was never changed before) and now my engine has less trouble with blowing air while driving and using the AC. Not to mention the air smells cleaner.But that's just my personal experience. Actual facts about the product are that it fits properly for my car (chevy cruze 2014), and the build quality is high.

K&N are always decent filters
Bought this as a replacement cabin filter for our Chevy Volt - only to find that the vehicle came without any filter originally. I would have put one in a long time ago if I knew the factory did not have one.It is a bit pricier(about 2 1/2 times as much) as the OEM replacement cabin air filter, but since it is washable it seemed like a sensible way to go.Very easy to install on a Chevy Volt.

Good product and reusable
We like the K&N filters. We've had them on our previous vehicles. So nice to be able to clean them any time without having to buy a new filter. You do need the cleaning set which lasts for several cleanings.

Saves money
Replaced the cabin filters in all vehicles and this saves a lot of money. I have to travel dirt roads and I clean these about every 6 months. Just wash in a bucket and reinstall. No dealer charges and no buying new filters.
