great product. Better than expected.
This is the best purchase that I made all summer!!! I live on a ranch with animals that create way too many flies. Sliding screen doors just don't work well as I also have 3 large dogs. With this screen the flies in the house were dramatically decreased and the dogs could come and go as they pleased. I wasn't annoyed by flies and everyone was happy. The screen was super easy to install. The magnetic strips are just right. They aren't too strong to be attracted to other metal objects. I used this to replace the sliding screen door on my sliding door, so I was concerned that the magnets would be attracted to the metal framing. It hasn't happened. This is the best thing I bought for myself all summer! If it is destroyed by the dogs, I would buy another. I may buy one for my front door next year.

It works well for me, I used an unconventional mounting in that the screen fit perfectly INSIDE my door jam behind my door seal.I removed the seal and used flat head tacks to secure the screen inside th door frame. I did not use the provided Velcro so I am unable to comment in regards to the Velcro.I then replaced the weather seal strips as normal, over top of the screen.*note: Mounting the screen in this method left it about 6 inches to long so I folded the bottom side over toward the inside and superglued(I used Gorilla 10 sec clear drying) the screen to itself.*Temporarily to make sure the fit was right and everything functioned properly I used some small circular neodymium magnets to test fit before super gluing.This happened to work for me and I am able to close the door as normal with just a slight extra tug. Having two dogs and leaving the door open with them running in and out this has greatly reduced the amount of insects infiltrating the house. YMMV.I hope someone finds this review of value. Good Luck

it works!
fits perfect to my back door and was very easy to put in. there's a teeny tiny bit at the bottom that obvi is not velcroed down but it still deter bugs a great deal. for me I wanted to let grey air in and let my 16 month old experience the outdoors and hear the sounds etc w/o the possibility of stinging insects coming in or other bugs sniffing out my food then neverleaving I added axtra high baby gate too and that protects my son and my chihuahua from running outdoors but the magnetic feature is great when I'm in and out breaking down cardboard or throwing out dirty diapers. no more loud buzzing flies getting caught in the house. I am considering getting one for the front door so by the fall we have wonderful circulation for bout 20 bucks! the last photo shows the extent of the small crevice at the bottom where bugs could come in, but doubtful you really get an influx from just that small bit.

Must have!
I love it. There's nothing else to say. I bought a home and it didn't have a screen for the patio. I bought this because anything is better than just leaving the door open for air. After putting it up I was in heaven. No more flies and gnats. My dog figured out how to get thru it easily so I don't have to get up for him. The tape is very strong and so are the magnets. This is a just have if you don't have/need a standard patio screen.

Would have been a 5
It was very easy to install and looks great on but the magnets are not as strong as I would like. If I get a burst of wind the magnets come apart leaving the screen open for bugs to get in. If they were stronger I would give it 5 stars but the reason I bought this was to be able to leave the door open and enjoy the breeze through my home without allowing pesky bugs to enter.
