I bought these legs specifically with the intention of altering them. (I HAVE VOIDED ANY WARRANTY AND ACCEPT FULL RESPONSIBILITY SHOULD THESE ITEMS FAIL)OK, Having dismantled these items I probably have a greater knowledge of their construction than most. So, here are my observations. The legs themselves are rolled and seam welded construction. The metal itself is very thin. Borderline 1mm. A circular metal plate with a central screw thread hole welded/bonded at the top of the leg for rigidity purposes and connecting the black sure plate to via a thick screw. I wouldn't use these legs for a sofa or for any furniture item which may be dragged sideways across a floor, as the sideways rigidity of this item in my opinion could or would be prone to failure. BUT, put these legs to use on STATIC furniture and within reasonable weight limits to their size with only verticall weight/stress loads and these items should be perfect. I've built two wall units which are bolted to the wall at the back but required support at the front and for this these legs are absolutely superb in my opinion. The black plastic adjustable feet are of good construction with a nice broad thread to them so do not weaken as they adjust. They are of two piece construction. A large strong threaded height adjustable foot and a press fit threaded housing inside the tube of the leg. (This part cannot be removed without possible/likely damage to item, injury to yourself occurring.)I would highly recommend them for situations where I have stated above. I think they are great.I stated at the beginning that I INTENTIONALLY altered them. My reason for doing so is because I have two units each requiring two legs....but at different lengths which the therded adjuster could not match. As they come in packs of four, I shortened two to suit my needs. I'll post pictures once the Christmas chaos is out of the way.

Purchased to replace some shoddy plastic legs on a sofa bed. These are much stronger but pay attention to tighten ALL bolts before you screw them to your item as not doing so will make the legs a bit wobbly after you attach them to the item

I used these to support kitchen wall units and they are solid and good looking.Would I use the 30cm model as sofa legs with the screws provided, no they would shear under horizontal pressure.Would I use them to support a sofa with bigger screws? I can't honestly say what would happen, but I reckon they would be okay.

Really pleased with these. Knocked up a little table for our grandson with the cutout from the hob in about 20 mins. As they are short they stay parallel and don’t wobble .
