Nice quality product but overpriced.
Nice product but over priced. After receiving the product I was surfing the web and found the exact product on other site for $10 less.

Cheap and Easy!
I used this on my 10/22 and it worked pretty well. I tried to attach the front end of the sling to the barrel band screw, that didn't fit mine but it might work for you. I have a synthetic stock that is fairly hollow so I was a little concerned about the screws pulling out or stripping the stock. I removed the rifle from the stock and I drilled two holes into the stock. The screws were pretty easy to install and are secure, no loosening or movement at all. I feel like this was a good upgrade for me, I like having the option of attaching a sling.

Requires simple modification for Ruger PC9, works well once done.
I thought I ordered the right part for the Ruger 9mm carbine, but the outside of the rear swivel hole on the stock required some filing. The profile was too big, and pushed the swivel open (Though not all the way) when the swivel was tilted all the way forward (Like it would be if you were carrying the rifle over your shoulder). The modification is very straightforward and not a big deal if you have some small files and sandpaper. Just push the swivel back and forth to see where you need to remove material. Rinse and repeat until the swivel can move freely all the way forward. They work great once modification is complete, though I would obviously recommend you find the correct part for the rifle.

Great quality, required modification.
I bought these to fit an old 1987 Marlin model 60 .22lr. Wood stock. It had holes in it previously from some kind of stud, I figured these would require a little bit of modification to get fitted. Boy, I was right. The diameter of these was much larger than the old holes, but that was fine as I knew it would be a tight fit. I marked off the depth I needed to go for the short one, and proceeded to accidentally drill through my stock (which is fine, it's where the mag tube sits anyway.) I screwed it in, and the short one was much too long for my forend. I took it back out, removed the spacer (the white looked TERRIBLE with the wood) and ground off the tip. After about 20 mins of grind and screw, the front one was installed. The back one was muchlonger than I needed, but it didn't matter since I was drilling into solid wood. However, because the stock and hole weren't drilled at right angles, I had to countersink the head of the stud into the stock to get a flush fit. After all this complaining, you might wonder why I rated this four stars. Just by looking at this product, you can tell why Mike's is THE standard for inexpensive rifle swivels and mounts. These are of a nice quality; I won't have any worries about my light little gun falling off the sling. They are probably thicker and longer for bigger weapons, so I'm not going to dock them much for it. Honestly, it was a little difficult getting a good fit (I HATE drilling into my gun stocks as I'm about the furthest thing from a woodworker) but I was super pleased with the result. Only thing I'd change is to maybe offer smaller ones for rimfire rifles or acknowledge in the description that it may not fit smaller stocks (again, this also falls on me for poor planning.). Also, please include a black spacer. Overall, though, it was a really quality product!

This is what I did...Used to Install
Installed on Kitchen Table, on Walnut Ruger 10/22...used piece of cardboard on table (Wife recommended). Previous review said 11/64 drill bit, did not have so used 5/32 and made a little larger while drilling. Used ice pick and hammer to tap small indent, drilled pilot hole with small...very small bit, then drilled 5/32...using scotch tape on bit to make sure I did not drill too deep. Used a little Prmatex, Threadlocker Blue (Medium Strength...so it will come out if needed), used pliers to get screw started, then ice pick to screw to final setting. Used Caldwell shooting bag to steady during process. (Did not disassemble 10/22 at all, or remove stock from barrel) Did not use the swivel holder that fits between barrel clamp; since I did not want to have to file the barrel clamp to get it to tighten after install. So, drilled front in wood about 1 1/2" back of barrel clamp (should have moved back more...was afraid I might split wood as I screwed it in, so very slow...it was plenty tight...but lucky I did not...sure hope it does not split after use...lol. Would do atleast 2" back if I did it again. Lower stock swivel I did at about 2 1/2" from stock butt. I also think 5/32" holes were a little small, 11/64" (as previous Reviewer recommended) probably better with threadlock --Blue, Medium strength.

Is both PeePee and Giny compatible!
Sure am glad I finally found the Unisex model. I was getting tired of switching out for the weekend.

Fit the bill
Bought these for a Ruger 10/22 since the gun does not come with any sling mount points. Relatively easy to install assuming you know how to use a drill and can drill a straight hole. The rifle has a wood stock (dense wood - you need a good drill) and I was a bit hesitant in drilling the hole. Disassembled the gun and put it in a vice to keep it steady. Drilling the hole was then simple. The hardest part was screwing the eye hole, a right sized allen wrench worked fine. I used the mount piece for the barrel band on the front of the gun - fit snug (perfect fit).I had no issue with the white washer. It's barely visible, if insignificant things like that bother... you then spend .03 and buy a black washer. Good quality, perfect for my 22, relatively easy to install.
