Love this brand of hair products and especially love the smell of this one. My hair is soft using this but not so soft it goes flat.

PRODUCT ANALYSIS
Hello! I like to invest as a consumer in not just products, but people, so hear me now. I would recommend this company and product. Please take my subratings of the moisturizing, scent, and softness as those in a perfect world, not necessarily in relation to any other product. I have wavy long hair and wash/condition 2x/week in softened hard water, and THIS PRODUCT WORKS FOR ME, although I can't speak for other hair and water types.+ small business+ value size+ great scent+ satisfactory moisturizing and softening+ subscription and discount available+ some sustainability and ethics certifications (could be more tho thinking of Dr. Bronner's products)+ personable message on packaging- I use about 1.5x more conditioner than shampoo to achieve desired effect- pump is slow and doesn't reach bottom of bottle- no advertised trial size (the 12 oz works ok if you're testing for a recommended month)

Just Awesome
I have so many issues with shampoo. Everything works well at first, then it all goes wrong. I end up with broken ends, dull hair and way too much hair loss when i shampoo. So i waited a while do write this review.I’m impressed. No joke. Normally when i wash my hair i get a LOT of hair in the drain. (As my husband who has to pull it all out). I noticed right away with this shampoo and conditioner that i had NO hair in the shower. Or sink. None. NONE.My hair is shiny, soft and i feel fabulous. But… like all products, it doesn't usually last long. This product has totally impressed me. Its a little more than i usually spend but to know that my hair loss is under control, its worth it.It smells nice, its light and i feel good about using a product with no parabans or sulfates. Thats become really important to me recently.Try these products. You wont be sorry.

Love the product. Never been more frustrated with a bottle in my life.
I just discovered this brand when I stayed at a hotel in Seattle, and I loved the product and the smell and the way it made my hair feel (plus no bad chemicals is always a plus, right?).So I find it on Amazon and order some. I set it up in my shower for next time. So there I am in the shower, excited to try out this shampoo again, and I can't get the pump to pop up. I've run into this before with other bottles, so I take it out and twist the cap, expecting to have it pop up after a few turns. But it just keeps twisting and twisting to no avail. I think, "maybe I'm twisting it the wrong way," and proceed to twist it the opposite way until it gets too tight to turn. I untwist it the opposite way again. I wiggle the pump, thinking maybe it's just stuck. I unscrew the whole thing to see what the mechanism is inside and if it can provide a clue as to why it isn't opening. I look for instructions on the back of "how to unstoppable pump." I go back to twisting and wiggling. I open it again. I contemplate throwing it. I wonder if I'm the only person in the world who needs instructions of how to get this pump to work. I compose an incredulous, scathing review in my head. I consider just using my old shampoo or unscrewing the whole lid and using the tube to collect the shampoo.I put it back on its shelf before I commit any crimes against this shampoo bottle, and try the conditioner, thinking, "Maybe it's just a defective cap. Maybe this one will work." It doesn't. I now want to cry. I just want to wash my hair and get back to my day, but I can't. I nearly give up, but decide I don't want to be someone who gives up easily on things. I will figure this out.I do the exact same things I've already tried again for good measure. I do nothing in particular, and the fuggin cap pops up on its own accord, as if mocking me. I stare at it, flipping rapidly between relief, rage, and horror, because I don't know how to repeat what just happened on the conditioner cap.I now move on to the conditioner bottle, telling myself, "Halfway there." And also thinking, "How ridiculous that there is a 'halfway there' to opening shampoo and conditioner, and that omg am I going to have to go through this every time I order this? I don't know if I can mentally handle that."I try all the things on the conditioner bottle with no success, and it does not help me out. But I realize now I can study the shampoo mechanism, now that it's out. I look more carefully and see that there is a ridge on the shaft of the pump, which likely held the pump in the down position. There's a washer that probably contains a little notch inside where that ridge rested. Unfortunately, as you spin the head of the pump, the washer spins too, so the ridge can never escape the groove.Knowing this, I tried clamping my fingers down on the washer of the conditioner and spinning the head of the pump. But my fingers are wet because I've been standing in the shower for twenty minutes trying to open a damn shampoo bottle, and I can't get a strong enough grip, and it's also not really possible to have your fingers in place to grip the washer AND spin the head. I contemplate vacating the shower to find a tool that can grip this for me, but decide I'll try one more thing. I dry off my hands and the bottle and cap with a towel, and then after several more rounds of awkwardly pinning the washer while twisting the head, the pump pops open.I shriek with victory and curse whoever designed this wretched cap. Finally, I can wash my hair. Finally, the battle was over.Except it wasn't. Because this cap is seriously terrible. It expelled a tiny amount of shampoo. My hair is down to my waist and thick. I need a lot of shampoo for my hair, and every pump spat out less and less. I manually pulled up the pump and pushed it down, but it still took probably 20 manual, slow, pumps to get what would probably take 4 with my previous shampoo bottle. I'm so frustrated I almost just use the other shampoo out of spite. But, I will close this out by saying once I got past the obstacles on this shower quest, the actual shampoo and conditioner were very pleasant. Will I continue to buy this product? I honestly don't know. I know now to never try to open this product while in the shower (or that I was highly unlucky with two defective pumps) and to keep a pinching tool nearby to grip the washer. And I know it's a slow process to get the proper amount of shampoo out of the bottle for my hair. With those lowered expectations and this incredulous rant, maybe we can all have an okay experience with this product.
