Equus 8262 2" Electric Water Temperature Gauge, White with Aluminum Bezel

This is a really nice gauge. Please see all the photos I’ve included. The color is actually slightly off-white. The gauge comes with the red green and blue covers for the lightbulb. However, I wanted to put in LEDs. Here is the Amazon description for the LED bulb that fits these sockets and although it says, RED in the description you can get several different colors from the same link. The color and brightness looks much more even and not as glaring in person. The bulbs are self-contained and only require 12v positive and negative hook up.

If you need a reasonably priced electric water temp gauge, I can recommend this unit. My Jeep dash panel didn't come with a gauge and it's critical to monitor cooling system temp. The gauge came with all the necessary accessories to install including the temp sensor which threaded into the factory location. Easy to install for anyone with basic tools and minor mechanical skills.

Used this on my mustang, very easy to install. It looks good especially with the light on. Very happy for the price of this gauge. Gauge seems pretty accurate according to the scan tool I hooked up to read the factory temp sensor.

The Gauge and sender worked perfectly with one exception.Seems the lighting on the instrument needs to be improved upon. I've purchased the Equus 8000 series voltage, oil pressure,and water temp. systems and once you put a colored rubber boot on the instrument lighting the illumination is greatly diminished.
