Access in easy steps: Illustrated using Access 2019

Better than most of these books, honestly. Easy to read and understand.

I've looked at several books on Access for beginners and this is the best by far. The content is what a beginner needs. The book has step-by-step instructions and images to make everything easy. The pages are colorful and elegantly designed. They have many other books in the series for coders and I've recommended this to others. Really a terrific book and a terrific series of books.

Easy to follow and understand for someone new to database software

Husband needed for work. He said it has all the info he needs for the program.

I am self taught in SQL and can see this would have been a valuable too in understanding relational databases.

I've been using Access as a flat file database for years and want to understand and use it as a Relational database.I bought a couple of Access 2019 books and found this one to be the most helpful.

Illustrations were minuscule in the Kindle version of this book. Knowledge shared was no more than can be found in Access help files. Not worth the price.

Having used Access 2003 for some years I thought it was time to update to Access 2019. At the same time I bought this book to assist me in using Access's new features. If I had not previous experience with Access I would have thrown this book away and stuck with the familiar Access 2003. However I struggled on and can now make Access 2019 do what I want modest as my requirements are. I cannot recommend this book to a first time use of Accessd.

My new compute came with an updated version of Access which differed from the one that I had. So I woukl have got on a bit better if I had been able to refer to the book whereas I had to keep transferring back and forward. However, I think I have finally mastered the basics and will no doubt find it more useful in future

A well written and well illustrated book which makes the task of learning access quite simple. Thoroughly recommended

Good for that initial introduction but you'll need more resource/reading material if you want to delve into the depths of Access

I have only given this product 3 stars as I am still going through the book step by step. So far very simple instructions and even though I have been using access for some time, I have already learnt a few things.
