Simple effective tool to help with behavior issues.
We got this reward chart when we found that Time Out wasn't working for us. Our nearly 3 year old would do time out, but it wasn't changing his behavior; rewarding his positive behavior caused an immediate turn around!Firstly, I was going to make one of these reward charts, but with two kids and $5, it was better I just bought it. The "I Can Do It" chart is very simple. It's laminated and durable. The stars are plastic and stick securely to the board, which is not firm, but bendable, with a magnet attached for hanging on the refrigerator or metal surface. The set also comes with extra stars.I really love using this reward chart; it's helped us immensely, and more importantly my son *really* loves it. We place it on the mantel below the television so he can see it, and beside it we put the reward he is working toward, (you can also take a picture of the reward and put it in the little box on the chart). This gives our son a real visual image of what he needs to do to get the reward. Once we explained how the chart worked to him he was very excited to start using it, and his behavior turned around the same day. Couldn't be happier!Really recommend this product.

AMAZING!
I barely ever write reviews but I had to about this product. I absolutely love this token board! It's simple yet effective. I like that you can re-use the stars and I like that the board isn't overwhelming with words, pictures, etc. My 3 and 1/2 year old son responded very well to it so far! It's created a really nice positive change in our house. FYI: Not only is it positive reinforcement ("if you can do this, you can earn a star" but you can also "take away" a star for unwarranted behavior. Both work great!)

love it!
I love this board! I got it for my 2 year old daughter for potty training purposes. The good thing about this chart though is that you can use it for all different accomplishment throughout your children's childhood. It is especially appropriate for younger children because they love being able to easily put the stars on themselves. When we start over, the stars are easily removed. I also like how it has a "Working for Box" where you can put whatever your child is working towards as reinforcement. I created my own little picture on the computer, printed it, cut it out and stuck it on with tape to make it a little more fun and interesting.

Useful for potty training
This is a nice little chart. I purchased it to teach my son potty training. There were fancier, more expensive charts with multiple chores and responsibilities, but right now we're just focused on potty training so I bought it for that. I do wish that there was room for a few more stars in case he goes potty more than 5 times in a day, but so far he still has not yet filled the chart so we are good. However, the magnetic strip isn't very sturdy by itself and it really needs one on the bottom as well. I put it on my refrigeraor and use two state magnets to hold the bottom so that it stays on. For my purpose, it works well, but if you need more than 5 stars or more chores and responsibilities to mark off, this is not the product for you. That said, my son loves putting stars on his potty chart so it has proven a helpful potty training tool.

Expensive for what you get
I could have made this myself, so I would describe it as 'okay', but expensive for what you get. Decent product, but should be cheaper or come with a couple boards for the price.

Perfect!
We bought this to start a reward system for our strong minded 2 year old daughter. This is simple enough for her to understand, and we loaded up on little "prizes" she can earn when she gets to 5 stars. She loves earning her stars and putting them on the card. The Velcro is just right (not to hard to remove, but stick well). We have regular activities she can earn stars for, but give other opportunities as well. It has really helped us to encourage better behavior! Oh, and the magnet on back is nice for her too so she can put it right back on the fridge after putting on her stars!

Perfect size for my 5 year old
It’s really cute. Perfect size for my 5 year old. Special needs and struggles with confidence and he loves the idea of affixing his own stars after completing a task or an accomplishment. And we love coming with with new ideas for the “goal” reward. And what a great way to help kids understand responsibility and working toward goals. And you can’t beat the price - materials alone prob would’ve been more. So we use it to entice and excite him about certain activities that are not his favorite and when he can focus, it totally works.

Great for Two Year Old
I have been using this with my almost two year old daughter. She was having a hard time falling asleep without fussing. I told her that she would get a yellow star if she could fall asleep without fussing. For the first week, she fell asleep without fussing - I was amazed it worked so well for a child her age. It does not work every night, but overall has been a big help. She likes putting the star on the chart, and I like that it is re-useable. I also like that it is magnetic and have it on my magnetic/white board calendar.
