The pole where the paper towel sits isn't tight feeling, but I don't think it will interfere with how it works. And when you get 1/2 way through your paper towels you will get a little surprise!! 😂🤣😂 Possibly my fav paper towel holder ever after noticing 🍆

I love this paper towel holder! It is very sturdy and heavy enough to not slide around on the counter. I love the rubber grips on the bottom to help keep in place. I am very happy with the bronze color too! Just what I was looking for.

Arrived safely, fairly well packed and arrived on time as well as being equipped with an extra rubber foot. Was disappointed with quality and weight however. It did not appear to be cast iron to me, seems it would have been much heavier. It is not heavy enough for single-handed use while in a busy kitchen, but I can see it being just heavy enough to do some serious damage when it's knocked over or falls while trying to dispense a towel. Kitchens are busy, paper towels are needed quickly, and often while hands are full and/or wet. The dispensers need to hold still while the towels are dispensed. This did not work for my needs. Perhaps useful for a less busy kitchen... if there is such a thing. Item was returned.

Do appreciate the basic design and function of this paper towel holder. The simple construct places it ahead of those with springs and complicated dispensing designs that stop working in short order. It is heavy enough to be stable when one retrieves a towel. The only caution is to go slow with the first couple towels over an oversized roll as they are a bit tight.

I was very pleased with this purchase. Can’t say enough about this well-constructed and attractive accessory for my kitchen. It was exactly what I was looking for in a paper towel holder. Practical, sturdy and beautiful.

What I like is that water can get under it (It’s by the sink/faucet in the kitchen so it’s going to be wet) and it doesn’t stay wet!

Beautiful addition to my kitchen. Heavy enough to hold the roll while I pull the paper towel.
