The Bryelly four deck automatic card shuffler works just great. Very few times do the cards get hung up in the hopper and that is mostly caused by someone not holding down the start lever until all the cards are shuffled. In fact when we are playing cards, the players look forward to their deal so they can use the shuffler. For the price, it is decent quality. I would highly recommend this unit for all you casual card playing lovers out there.

For the price, this works really well. Yes, the cards do get caught and the machine freezes because of it, but it's not that big a deal. It sure as heck beats shuffling them by hand - especially if you are dealing with multiple decks or you're developing arthritis.

We geezers decided we needed a card shuffler, due to increasing arthritis in our hands. Neither of us can shuffle cards effectively any more. Device comes in options of 2-decks, 4-decks or 6-decks. We chose 4-deck. Received shuffler - instructions make no sense. We are both high-level professionals, usually capable of problem-solving. Unable to figure out how to make shuffler work, using the YouTube video. Called Customer Service - helped by Antoinette, who was very nice and helpful in spite of the manufacturing and instructional deficiencies. She told me that the 4-deck shuffler requires C batteries (but box clearly says 4-AA batteries). Got it to work with the proper size batteries. WIth the 4-deck shuffler, the cards just fall into the bottom as they are shuffled -- NOT on spring-loaded platform as shown on YouTube video; we spent a fair amount of time trying to figure out where the spring-loaded platform actually was, but it was non-existent for our product. Yet the printed instructions referred us to a YouTube video which was NOT for our product (generically titled). Antoinette was very nice and stayed on the line till we found the C batteries and installed them. Then it worked. We told Antoinette that company has serious issues, with (1) advertised YouTube video not being correct one for the 4-deck product we bought, and (2) box being mislabeled “requires 4 AA batteries” when it is a C-battery device. She said that company will warranty the shuffler for four months (up to 3-12-19) if we have any other problems. I requested that she escalate these problems with the corporate Powers That Be, and I am writing this Amazon review to warn future buyers. Our problems trying to use this device have made us angry and frustrated. The device is supposed to contribute to the relaxation of a friendly card game, and we have wasted more than a full hour on it (plus the time to write this review). Ongoing usage of this device will decide whether we will write another review for Amazon in future. If it does not continue to perform as expected, I hope to write another review. If I remain silent, you may interpret that as: "so far, so good." Even if it continues to work as advertised, our experience with this company will be forever tainted by these start-up issues, which are things which should have not occurred. Period.

I wanted to like this unit because it's simple and quick. But VERY noisy - you can't have a conversation over drinks while it's shuffling. I'm running 4 decks and they are new, slick as snot plastic coated cards. (Perhaps that's the main issue?). You might have a different experience with just 2 or 1 decks but I doubt it. About 80% of the time it will flip a few cards upside down and/or jam cards in the side. Occasionally jams so badly that it stops and you have to unjam it. It also (at least on mine) runs out of cards on the right side much faster than the left so I have to put about 20% more cards on the right to keep it from simply dumping cards in the same order they stacked in. I wouldn't recommend this unit. I'm going to go to a higher price tier and hopefully get better results.

I am very grateful to have this shuffler. I have arthritis in my hands and cannot shuffle a deck of cards. This is a great tool for me. My family uses it as well, especially when we play card games that require two or more decks. It is made of lightweight plastic and runs on batteries. So far it has lasted through lots of play with our many grandchildren and adult children. Great tool!

This card shuffler is great. We play a lot of card games & this shuffler is the best one I’ve ever purchased. It’s fast, efficient & the cards don’t jam up. I particularly like that it holds 4 decks of cards. Highly recommend!

3 deck card shuffler, used multiple times hourly. Makes card play easier for stiff fingers. Simple to use, provides best card mix when managed with meld separation. Needs running in just like a vehicle engine. Best with quality batteries. Every canasta player should buy one.

Gear mechanism works ok but it is a bit noisy. If you use four decks, it's a bit sloppy and the cards kind of pile up sideways in the receiving tray and jam up the shuffle. Works well most of the time but we put a table cloth under it so that it isn't so noisy.

Battery location is very awkward, looks like it should take C batteries instead of the AA which can cause the AA batteries to not connect correctly. Otherwise it is alright. Was buying for an older relative but they will not be able to put the batteries in without a lot of trouble so will keep for myself.
