Love
I’m very very bad at gardening, so I bought these seeds with low expectations of myself lol let’s just get that out of the way.The reviews made me hopeful. We have a really plain yard and I wanted a mix of seeds that were local to where we live. This mix had the most local flowers. Meaning it’s not like planting a redwood in Florida.I used miracle grow potting soil, I don’t know if that’s good or bad but it was affordable. I got a bunch of 18”x10” planters and followed the instructions for how deep to plant the seeds.I planted maybe half of them on a Saturday afternoon and by THURSDAY there were sprouts in every planter. I got so excited that I dug up some of the dirt by a tree in the front yard and sprinkled some there. They have already exceeded my expectations.I’m buying another bag of just the Bee seeds and some more dirt because this purchase created a monster. lol I hope I can update with a photo of flowers later.I have planted a bajillion seeds out of those packets you get from Lowe’s or wherever and nothing has ever bloomed. So, these seeds are good. I think the rest of it might be up to how competent I am.So far I’m really geeked.

Impressive
Planted these roughly 7 days ago in freshly tilled sand berm left from building the new house here in Citrus Springs, FL. Tilled a small amount of topsoil to the mix. Haphazardly scattered seeds, then watered lightly every day. Bear in mind I also threw in ~25,000 puny poppy seeds as well a few tiny packages of another wildflower mix. Probably got a bit carried away but I am very impressed with the germination of the seeds. Will update on progress.

Bright Colors, No Hassle
Started fresh with a planter in April. Sowed the seed (about 1/3 of a pouch), added a little slow-release pellet plant food, and then put down layer of mulch. Squirrels and rabbits dug up some seeds, but it didn't seem to affect the results too much. (I probably over-seeded, honestly.) By early June the results were pretty nice (see photos). I watered daily and trimmed off flowers or leaves that wilted. So far I have three colors of blooms: marigold yellow, bright fluorescent orange, and (just one so far) light magenta-pink. Not much in the way of butterflies or bees so far, but I haven't seen many in general this summer yet. Nice mix, will probably buy again for another planter or bed next year.

Our first test with wild flowers
After very little prep in an unused area needing some color, we spread the seeds then lightly covered with Miracle-Gro garden soil. Had sprouts in 5 days! This pic is 4 months later.Just repeated in another area.Love the blooms and colors!

Nice mix
These have germinated very nicely. I sowed them in a large planter and probably sowed too many actually as they almost all sprouted and probably need to be thinned out. They are 6-8 inches tall now and I can’t wait to see what they grow in to.

Highest success rate for seed I've had!
I wanted to wait several months to see how the plants did before I wrote my review. Goodness gracious the other reviewers aren't lying when they said the seeds in this packet germinate like crazy! I sprinkled a handful into two separate pots outside on my patio, covered lightly with soil, and then watered dutifully and within a few days I had sprouts all over. But you know how it goes with gardening - your seeds never germinate, or when they do they damp off and die or they're too leggy or just too weak. I was worried that even with the high germination rate, the plants still wouldn't do well. Imagine my surprise when I had pots full of foliage a month down the line, with minimal effort or care on my part! Now that the flowers are finally blooming, it's not the overcrowded, wild bouquet look I was hoping for, but blooms are steadily coming in day by day and I'm willing to call that a great success for a newbie gardener. If anyone wants an easy way to fill up a flower bed with flowers, I highly recommend this seed mix! The price might look a little steep compared to individually buying the flower packets, but it's totally worth it when you consider the ease of cultivation and the cost of buying all the packets individually - or even worse, the starter plants!
