Purina Pro PlanCanned Dog Food, Sensitive Skin & Stomach Salmon & Rice, 13 oz, 12 Pack

My dog is a 12lb Chihuahua/Jack Russell mix with a sensitive stomach and tendency to turn in to a vomit comet if not on a strict diet.When we moved in with my parents after a nasty divorce (who have a Bassett and a Shorkie), Tango’s dinner schedule cake with the introduction of wet food. He has not had wet food in his regular diet before. At the time, my mom was using Alpo wet food for her pups. Tango started to get sick more frequently. At first I thought it was the abundance of treats, but once we started restricting his diet, it was clear that the wet food was the problem as his dry food is a specialty salmon and rice formula that he’s been on for awhile with no issues.So we replaced the Alpo with this wet food. Such a difference in his digestion! No more frequent episodes of puking. No more uncomfortable tummy aches. We’ve even been able to reintroduce treats back in to his diet. We also switched my mom’s dogs to the same wet food. My mom’s Shorkie has severe allergies and we’ve noticed some of her skin issues clearing up after switching her wet food.It’s a little more pricey- on average $1.80 per can- but it’s worth the price if your pet has a sensitive tummy.

Our German Shepherd has sensitive skin, this really seems to help. He seems to really like the flavor and consistency of this food. He's been on it now for about 3 years and hasn't complained about it yet.

This food is the best for my 2 year old German Shepherd. Before this food, her skin was red, raw and had scabs where she continually was licking. Her toes had no hair on them. A couple weeks of mixing this food into Purina Pro Plan Sensitive Skin and Stomach Salmon kibble her scratching and licking stopped. Her hair has now grown back and no red skin! It does smell a bit, but she eats it up. She was never interested in eating until we bought this combo.This was a lifesaver. We tried everything to help her with skin issues and nothing worked except for this food along with twice a week baths. This has worked the best for my Millie.

Not sure if there is other hidden ingredients in this or not, according to the label, there isn’t. But not so sure, I would like to confirm that!

I rescued two GS puppies two years ago. Both were healthy, then one begin vomiting after many trips to vet and trying different things, we took her to LSU animal clinic where they discovered she had inherited a birth defect in her esophagus. They recommend putting her on purina sensitive skin & stomach. It has been two years now she is a healthy active beautiful dog , with only a couple of vomits. Thanks so much for making the food for dogs like her, we loved her the minute we got her so hard to watch! Except for being a little expensive and messy ( canned food always is ha) we are very satisfied!We also had trouble finding it ( we live in small town, ) 4cans a day, so nice we subscribe monthly at amazon and it is delivered to our PO. Great not to worry if we can find it anymore

My 11.5 yr old pit has had tummy majority of her life. Our vet recommended this line and it’s been the only food to work for her tummy. She’s been eating it for well over five years now. The past several months it’s been extremely hard to find. Out of stock everywhere and if you do find it its $5 more a 12 pack then it used to be. Come to find out the ingredient list and macronutrients have changed (new is less calorically dense). Salmon is now lower on the list with “fish” being higher. They’ve added liver (above salmon) and oatmeal! Pieces of carrot are gone. Yet Purina is still advertising it as the same thing. So we’re paying more for a lower quality product. This is extremely deceptive. Not to mention dangerous being that it’s made for dogs with health issues/food sensitivities. New reviews on their website mention dogs getting diarrhea from it. Extremely disappointed in Purina.

Our new rescue was 30# when rescued now he's 51#. He receives 1/2 can of wet and 1/2 cup of dry twice a day to maintain his weight. He's a strong bull terrier. The senstive food is easy on his stomach and his skin is without issues.

my husband and I started giving this food to our dog for a few reasons:1) she ended up breaking her bottom 2 adult k9 teeth off from her tearing up her bed(s) when she was younger.2) she wouldn't touch her dry dog food.3) TO ME, it seems like this food does NOT keep her full.thats just to name a few but theres SO MUCH more... we're going to stop giving this to her because the last few shipments (I wanna say 3 or 4 cases)... I've noticed that the food INSIDE THE CANS where:1) "dry"-ish around the sides but the cans were sealed.2) the whole case came in dented. every single can...3) some of the cans had like hard substance in it like it was either bone or something else.4) another case had mixture of 1, 2, and 3 in it.. ("dry" sides, dented, and bones/hard stuff inside the food).I've read some of the reviews and they've have similar things happen to them as well. SO, we're switching her back to dry food because she ate a LOT of it when we took her to my mom's while we where out of town for a few days. my mom has 2 dogs and their on dry food. after our dog was fed, she ran into the kitchen and "inhaled" the other dog's food and our dog is SCARED of going into kitchen(s)/areas that do not have carpet... think "floor is lava" with our dog.

Good quality dog food that my dog loves. She is older and requires a food each to swallow and with extra moisture. This works like magic.

Our dogs love this variety of food and seem to enjoy the flavour very much. Will purchase again
