I had an issue with chronic nosebleeds that ultimately led to my getting a cauterization. However, while I was dealing with this issue I could get a very heavy nosebleed out of the blue. This was very inconvenient as you could imagine because, like everyone else, I go to work, go out in public, etc. When a nosebleed would hit these plugs would handle the heaviest flow. I have never bled all the way through one of these and I would posit that I have had about as heavy a nosebleed as you could get. These plugs saved me time and time again from finding myself in a very unfortunate situation in public.Pros:-Durable. Keep some in your pocket and it won't just tear apart.-Absorbent. Held up for me under the worst of circumstances.-Value. It is a good deal. They are just cotton plugs...but still.Cons:- None. It does what it is supposed to do and does so efficiently.

Love these for my 2 year old. It's dry air here so he gets quite a bit of nosebleeds. I had to cut it in half and twist it 'cause they are pretty long- for a toddler at least. Wish they came in thinner options for kids but it still works. Definitely a product to keep on hand. I will say I don't like the packaging it came in though. No container like I assumed it would be in. Just a baggie. Doesn't seem too sanitary that way.

Our gym has Sparring day on Wednesday’s and EVERY Wednesday we need a couple of these but they do the job effectively. Now I just keep them in my cutman bag all the time.

These are great for my kids who have allergies and also won't keep their fingers out of their noses, causing nosebleeds. It's great to be able to shove these in their nostril instead of the panic that they have seeing the blood on a tissue etc. I will say that the absorbency is great and they work well.The softness is not all that good and they are slightly large diameter for a child's tiny nostril so we get complaints about that. They're perfect for adult noses. The diameter DOES help to apply pressure though to help stop bleeding.The length is a bit long for my kids' faces so I usually cut them in half to be able to not have these cover their mouths. They will complain about the diameter of them, but overall they work great.I do recommend to do a quick twist, THEN pull to remove them so you don't disrupt any scabbing in the notril and restart the bleeding. Don't let them sit too long or bleeding can happen again also.Overall, they're great for nosebleeds and we have small stashes of them around the house/car/purse. They've helped a lot and don't break down like a tissue/napkin/papertowel will. Also, they are packed fairly tight so they can absorb a lot before needing to change them. I will change them so my kids don't see the blood because they'll freak out.

I bought these for my 13 year who has frequent nosebleeds. They are tiny. I can fit 2 in one nostril. Luckily my kids nostrils are on the smaller side so these would fit however the absorbency isnt very good. When she bleeds, she gushes and there is no way these will hold all the blood.
