It's a great kit. I appreciated that the dishes come sealed in pairs which meant I didn't waste them all when I only needed to use two. Everything you need is in the kit and they worked perfectly. I actually purchased these to test to see if a UV-C sterilization device that I had purchased actually worked or was a fake. Turns out not only did the Bacteria Growing kit work great, but so did the UV-C device!

Item arrived intact with no bacterial growth present. I sent the email for the E book but didn’t receive it as promised :( Will update review once we have some growth for our 2nd graders science fair project!

All of the petri dishes were cracked, some completely broken, mold was growing inside the bag. Could not be used.

I hope I just got a bad batch, but the agar gel was almost plasticized. One dish had a thin coating in the bottom, as the rest had spilled out (it didn't seem the agar was mixed and set properly). I did get a larger set, so I'd have extras, and I did teach the kids to swab and culture... but the quality of what I had to work with was a little lackluster.

Great overall product and even better was the customer service, which was well above and beyond. They resolved a problem instantly!!!

My granddaughter used these during an Science experiment in elementary school. The agar did what it was supposed to do. I highly recommend this product.

Great if you want some ready to view mold. Unbelievable. Literally covered in mold. I will not be ordering more from this company.
