Gillette Fusion Styler Men's Waterproof Hair Trimmer 3-in-1 (Clipper, Razor and Sculpter)

I purchased this specifically to shave my body hair. Meaning my armpits and privates. I clipped on the longest no3 blade attachment and dry shaved my armpits. This worked pretty well leaving a fairly even layer of short hair. I did the same down below. It actually works fairly well. It did the job. It cut my hair pretty short and even. Definitely better than doing it with scissors. I didn't cut myself once and again this was just dry shaved. The supplied battery is just a cheap branded one so it may or may not last long but it's ok to get you going. Ordered the one with the extra blades. So it came with 3 blades in total. So really you're only getting 2 extra blades. Now I had kind of not thought that you don't need the blades to use the styler trimmer as that's like a normal electric razor/trimmer and the fusion5 blades clip on the attachment. No complaints as it did the job.

This was to replace my old one which finally gave up the ghost after 8 years of use, so I know they last a while. Great value, easy to use, good quality, wet and dry comfort. Easy to keep clean. Small and easy to pack away when travelling. Brilliant.

I still have this thing to this day it’s been about 5 years and it’s still as good as new the battery life still lasts a good 3 months off just one battery, gives a quality shave, never clean shave as it’s not that type of shaver but god I love it great value for money

On first receiving this beard trimmer it was noticeable that it was not wrapped in Amazon’s usual protective packaging but just the box that Gillette provide to house the Trimmer and accessories. That said, nothing was damaged In transit so no problem there. No instructions arrived with the kit and for me, some specifics, such as how to attach and release the attachments would have been useful. I figured it out eventually without any breakages but a couple of clear diagrams would have been handy. It arrives with the single AA battery already in place so it’s ready to go, though it took me a little while to figure out access to the battery compartment. (The lower part of the trimmer twists from the upper part - simple once you know). The three trimmer guides are all designed to trim the beard to varying lengths of stubble. If you want to maintain a longer beard, this trimmer is not for you. For me, however it is perfect. It is small, light and works well - no painful pulling of hairs - a really good even trim from a longer stubble to short, depending on the chosen guide. Maybe I’m a bit sad but I really enjoy using the machine; it feels right in my hand and gives a good result. As well as the trimmer guides, it also comes with a Fusion five bladed razor attachment for making clean edges to the beard, using the trimmer as a handle. I’m not sure if you’re supposed to turn it on to use this feature or just use it as a conventional wet razor (again, some sort of instructional guide might have been useful). I haven’t had it long enough to run down the battery but I’ll replace it with a rechargable one. It’s designed to be waterproof so can be used in a shower, though I’ve not done so as I prefer to use a mirror. I’ve seen a video that features a plastic housing to hold the whole kit. Mine came with only a small holder for the guides and razor blade, which is ok for home use, though a case for the trimmer and the bits would be very useful for portability; I’m sure I’ll find something. All in all, I’m very pleased with the product; it’s cheaper than much of the competition, works very well, has enough variability for my needs. More importantly, my wife likes the results so I’m glad that I bought it.

This is a great shaver for the price you pay. Id does the job however the only thing I would say (Could be seen as a negative or positive) is this is my 5th of these in a couple of years. The blade does seem to become less sharp after a few months and tugs a little on the hair. Therefore I do buy a new one when this happens. I am buying a new one though and not changing brand as for 3 or 4 months this shaver is perfect and a painless, tugless shave! Will be buying again in 4 months most likely!

These clip so well cut theu long hair with a few passes bit with out a guard on these cut so quickly. Lobe that theyre a AA battery so much better than having to charge up, it comes with a stand for the guards but i dont like that iv just got them in a bag so i can grab them and go if i need to, but they dont come with anything like this. Still a very great product and for the price is even better just hope it lasts

Per me le 5 stelle sono più che meritate!
