Stainless Steel Reusable Condiment and Snack Containers, Set of 3

These days I am obsessed with meal prepping and am trying to reduce my use of plastics, so I purchased all 5 of the Bits Kits stainless steel containers. These are really nice quality and feel very sturdy. The condiment containers come 3 in box. They have a silicone band around the inside of the lid to prevent liquids from spilling, which is awesome! I didn't realize that when I purchased it, so it was a pleasant surprise. I used one of the condiment containers for salad dressing and another one for some almonds and one of the rectangular containers for salad. These handy containers are going to help keep me on track with portion control. My son no longer wants to carry a lunch bag to school and doesn't want to buy lunch, so we used the 5 compartment container to pack his lunch and tossed it right in his backpack. These are great for on the go families!

Designed not to tighten? = liquids fall right out. Pretty pointless even for powders.

these are very nice and i like how they’re not plastic, that’s why i bought them. however they are very small and do not really fit much, probably best for baby portion sizes or dips

The lids are pretty difficult to align correctly and twist on. Its not the traditional threaded track but 3 little indentations and raised dots that are supposed twist and lock it into place. I received 2 that just keep turning and turning and you really have to make sure the silicone ring and everything is aligned perfectly for it to work, and even when you can get it aligned, the lids pull off easily. One of the container’s lid wouldn’t fit at all, and I had to make the dents a little bit deeper and add some electrical tape on of the raised dots. The silicone ring is also loose and not built-in so you kind of have to flip the container part upside down onto the lid to make it work. Way too fussy for every day use.

I wasn't sure what to expect with the mixed reviews about the lids, but am quite happy with these little containers. I found that when I put the curved side of the silicone gasket towards the top of the lid, and tightened it slowly to the divets they don't leak. Tested them multiple times with water in them and didn't have a drop leak out. Just ordered another set.

I don’t write reviews much, but while I appreciate the aesthetics and materials of this item, the lid just does not open and close well. The silicone ring inside doesn’t stay out and the lid doesn’t stay closed. Not only are these not leak proof, but I think the lid might fall off if I turn the container upside down. I already washed them before trying them (shame on me), so I can’t return.

They LEAK!! I kept them because they are good for dry salad toppers or hummus but definitely not a good choice for salad dressing. If that’s what you’re thinking of using them for, look elsewhere

I use these to make a turmeric/coconut oil paste to use as a teeth whitener and it is the perfect sized storage container! Easy to wash and store.
