Great Clock!
I wanted a wall mountable binary clock and after reviewing my options I went with this unit. I am now six months in and the clock is working flawlessly. It is a minor inconvenience to have to change the time when daylight saving hits but I blame Benjamin Franklin for that. Great visual piece and the matte black gives it a modern look. I will be getting a blue one for our electrical apprenticeship.

Beautiful clock.
This is the geekier I could get when I decided to buy five of these Binary Clocks. They are all on my wall form and horizontal line above my computer desk and they look so futuristic. I am glad that I made the purchase for I believe this is going to be a discontinued item. They work well and I am satisfy with the transaction.

Leave no doubt that you're a geek!
This thing is a parlor trick, nothing more or less, which will cement your reputation as a total geek -- if there was ever any doubt. It's not a "true" binary clock, of course -- it merely shows each decimal digit of conventional sexagesimal time as a binary value -- but as a geek, you already knew that. For the first few days you must constantly add 1's, 2's, 4's, and 8's in your head to arrive at the correct time, which is annoying in the extreme, but in no time you'll memorize the various configurations and determine the time at a glance, just like any other clock. Unfortunately, "zeros" are represented by no lights at all, which means the positions of each digit must be memorized too, if you want to rely on it in the dark. But you're not going to rely on it, particularly in the dark, as your primary timekeeper -- as I said, it's intended not for determining the time of day (or night) so much as perplexing every less-geeky visitor to your inner sanctum. So if you enjoy advertising your geekiness, and don't mind answering the same two tiresome questions over and over ("What is that?", followed nearly always by "What's binary?"), then this is your geek chic masterpiece!

True dreams!
I first learned about binary clocks from an episode of "The Odd Couple" back in the late "70's". I've put off making a purchase due to responsible parenting, (It just wasn't in the budget).I am happy to say, "That after all this time I'm not only giddy with the purchase, but the clock is timeless in style".Thank you, nychuck

My geeky son loves it
This is a fun option for a clock, my son had never heard of them so he was happily surprised. It is nice looking as well.
