These are really heavy and look exactly like the picture they aren't up on shelf yet as we moved house but they will looking stunning once they are finally out of the box

These are advertised as 'heavy'. They are most certainly not heavy, as evidenced by the attached pictures. If your book collection amounts to three small light paperbacks, they're fine to hold them in place. Though you'd have to overlook the shabby paintwork to be happy with them. Any more books than the three and these simply won't hold anything in place. Poor and returned for a full refund. Extra star added simply for the attempt at the style of them.

These are not at all heavy and are useless, so much so that the books that it was supposed to be holding up which are lightweight pushed one over and it fell a very short distance and broke! Don't waste your money.

These were bought as a present for me because I am a keen photographer and make movies too. I thought they were a little bit expensive, but when I got them, I was really pleased - they make me smile, they are unusual and VERY cute. They are 6 inches tall and I have displayed them (as per photo) with normal hardbacks and a ruler to show size. You have to place them the way they face as the backs are not the same although the back of the movie camera has got a bit of detail on, see photo. If you are buying for someone who loves cameras or photography I think this would make a lovely gift.

It’s a beautiful piece for decor. It looks better in real life then advertised. Good sized, heavy and of good workmanship. It’s subtle but eye catching vintage.
