We use this instead of Baby Wipes
I first came across this at the hospital where our baby was born. These look like paper towels but are actually more like thin cotton cloth. They are super soft. The hospital gave us a few to use as baby-wipes. After bringing the baby from the hospital, I searched a lot online. I did not know the brand since the hospital gave it in a simple plastic bag. I asked the nurses, but they did not know either. Finally a review on Amazon on this product is how I found that this was the thing I was looking for. I've purchased a few a couple of boxes of it now. 500 is a lot and it will last for a few months. I cut each into 4 squares since you usually don't need to use the whole wipe at once. I cut it while watching TV/movie. We exclusively use this as baby wipes for diaper changes. We used Huggies wipes only for the daycare, since dipping it in water took them time and they had other babies to take care of too. However, since the baby got rashes, one teacher suggested that I pre-moisten these wipes for them and keep it in the wipes box. That way they did not have to spend an extra time and the baby was free from the chemicals in the wipes. After we made this switch the incidents of rashes has reduced a lot. For the one month that we switch exclusively to these washcloths, she has had only one incident of a diaper rash. Before that she used to have rashes at least 3 times a week and used to cry during diaper changes. Thanks to the daycare teacher who gave us the suggestion to pre-moisten these wipes!Tips:1. Cut each wipe into 4 to reduce wastage2. Keep a spray bottle with water handy during diaper changes for travel. I got one from a dollar store. I spray each square with water and use the most wipe to clean.3. For diaper changes at home, I prefer to keep a plastic bowl with water near the changing table. Its easier to dip the wipe with one hand since you need the other hand to hold the baby. Can't do that with a spray bottle in the other hand.

Non-toxic, convenient, useful for even non-parents.
We got these dry wipes to use with water (in squeeze bottles) to clean during diaper changes, and the hospital we gave birth at did the same.Despite companies like BabyGanics "suggesting" their wipes are organic, their wipes are full of chemicals known to cause cancer in REPRODUCTIVE organs during lab testings. Where are these wipes meant to be used on??Of course, lab testing may involve excess amounts of a given chemical, but since plain water does a fine job of cleaning with these soft wipes (and no added perfume), why use potentially toxic chemicals? In any case, these wipes are fantastic. They're soft and absorbent, don't rip or pill, yet wipe away your baby's unwelcome gifts easily and cleanly. Note that the wipes are folded in quarters (half, then half again), not as single-ply as in the picture. I usually fold it once again for diaper duty, so it works out fine.I've actually also taken to using these wipes as makeshift bibs (much easier to fold these half-under the collar, then toss after spit-ups, rather than constantly wash a limited number of bibs which don't even cover the sides properly), as bathing cloths (1 sheet holds up through entire bath, and then some), as burp cloths, as general cleaning cloths (much better than paper towels, which pill and rip), as coasters that don't stick to glasses/bottles, etc. I'll definitely keep a supply for misc use, even after our babies have grown up.In 2 months with our newborn (and miscellaneous uses above), we've gone through almost 2.5 boxes (500 wipes per box) already, but I'm a bit anal and unnecessarily use 2-4 wipes per diaper change, so YMMV (figure 1 box per month). Each box contains 10 plastic packs of 50 wipes.FYI, I've had 3 separate orders (1, 4, & 2 boxes, respectively) via the seller "Corydor" (Prime, Fulfilled by Amazon), but the orders show as having been sold/shipped from "YGM". No issues with any of the shipments.I also recommend buying a bunch of chux (aka: blue pads, wee wee pads) to put under the baby during diaper changes / potential spit-ups:http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002QW3EA8/ref=wms_ohs_product

Medpride cloths are softer
These are ok, but the Medpride brand cloths are softer. I would suggest buying those if priced the same

Helps with very bad diaper rashes
My baby had a severe diaper rash so my friend recommended these dry wipes to give her a break from moisturized wipes. These did the trick! They are soft and you can use them dry or wet them to clean your baby. They are very absorbent and as the size. For the price and how many wipes you get, this is a great value as an alternative to moist wipes!

Does not absorb water on your butt for a bidet. oftime. Had return them.
No porosity to this item at all. You have to dry yourself with a towel afterwards. That was the whole point of ordering these I bought them for a badet. I returned them.
