I purchased this battery for my Lenovo T420 as Staples no longer carried a battery for my model. When it finally arrived I followed the break in instructions carefully. It was a perfect fit and is doing a great job. The value for the money was outstanding. The only negative I have is in the shipping. I wasn't able to ship to my P.O. Box and had to use my physical address so I figured it would come by UPS or Fedex. That was not the case as it arrived by U.S.P.S. It arrived 2 days late as it bounced around between two Amazon shipping locations in GA and NC before finally arriving at my P.O. Box anyway. Overall, it was a good experience.

To start my t530 has been upgraded to an i7 3720qm and was running a 2core i3 which would last much longer. It is running a SSD as well which is more powerefficient than spinning rust. Runs nearly all day with no power settings set in Arch linux, and max power settings in BIOS. and tons of tabs open/discord and steam open as well. My thinkpad is far from as efficient as the m1 macbook air, but it lasts pretty much all day with this new battery, and i probably wouldn't hesitate to bring it to an office job without a charger. Especially if you're on low power settings in the bios and set the power plan in linux or windows.

Bought this to replace the battery on my T420 which barely held a charge. This new battery can go for several hours depending on the usage and brightness. Time will tell if it holds up. Mine reports 95 Wh actual capacity so its actually slightly higher than advertised. Tip: Make sure you let the battery run down to a very low level (around 5% or so) and then let it fully recharge. This will calibrate the battery meter, as these batteries ship with a preprogrammed 86 Wh capacity. After calibrating, it will report the full 94 Wh capacity and should make the percentage remaining more accurate. This will also help verify if you have a bad battery.

After getting a battery from a non-Amazon computer parts supplier that did not pass the "Genuine Lenovo" battery check, thereby running the computer but unable to recharge ( and returning the battery), I was going to go with a Lenovo branded battery for ~$84, but decided to try this brand based on their marketing photos showing that their batteries were made with the overcharge protection circuits/chips/boards, and should work. On arriving, I installed in my Lenovo W530 laptop, and no error messages, just a normal boot, and recharged from it's arrival level ~57% to 100% in just over 2 hours. I will buy from this manf/supplier again.

Purchased this to replace a failed battery on an old Lenovo T420 laptop. I have to say I'm somewhat disappointed. For an extended battery, it does not retain a charge nearly as long as the Duracell extended battery it replaced. I would have returned it, but the T420 is so old, it's hard to find batteries to fit it any longer. And I only use the Lenovo as a test machine, so I never got around to it.
