This is the most handy little gadget I own! I use it for so many things. I bought it to clean makeup brushes. Amazing what it removes. I also read about someone using something similar for washing berries. I drop them in water and immerse this little thing (maybe do two cycles) and oh my gosh-the stuff in the bottom of the bowl. You can also use it to clean jewelry-just about anything.

The product is easy to use, but that's the only pro. It was totally useless. I bought it to easily clean the tarnish off some silverplate. That didn't work. So I tried to clean a brass lampshade. That didn't work. I read reviews where people had used it to clean garden tools. I don't need to clean my garden tools, but at this point I wondered if it would work on anything. It did nothing except maybe some of the dirt fell off. Maybe I got a dud because there were a lot of good reviews. It does shake the container. My son suggested maybe it needed a metal pan. I tried the silver again in the metal pan, nothing. I've posted both before and after pictures.

I purchased this for the primary purpose of cleaning old vinyl albums. I have a fondness for original albums, and 40-60 years really can leave them in poor condition. I first purchased a spin clean for cleaning vinyl. I will say I like it and it is effective. However it does not get into the grooves well and old dirty albums have some remaining surface noise. An initial cleaning with ultrasonic first then mechanical spin clean seems to give a much better result. It is by no means a professional cleaning solution but what can you expect at this price point. I can caution you can only do about 3 clean cycles before it begins to heat up and needs a break. So far I see no concerns for future durability.

I really liked it when I first got it. Worked very well. After not having used it for a while, i brought it back out at the 2 year mark but I noticed very little to no results. Tried it again but no ultrasonic action happening. Light didn’t go on when plugged in. I tested it against another brand I bought at the same time and used it about the same amount. The other still works. This has reached its’s end of life. Two years is still pretty good. Personally, I thought it would be something I would have to use for a very long time.

It really works I use it to clean my dishes and everything comes out cleaner. I dont own a dishwasher. I fill my sink with soapy warm water place this in the water and it ultra sonic vibration gently cleans. I also use it to clean my husbands CPAP mask and hose. I'm glad I purchased it but I did think the price was really high that's the only con. I received nothing in exchange for this honest review.Updated 6 months later, it died. I'm so bummed. I hope the company reaches out to help...

I have enjoyed using this little ultrasonic cleaner on my fruit and vegetables. It cleans a lot of dirt that just washing is not able to remove. I also use it to clean my jewelry. I have used it twice in a row without a problem of overheating. I am sure there are many uses for it such as cleaning dirty tools, etc. If you can place it in water I think it could be a good aid in cleaning the item. I have not tried it with anything but a little dish soap on jewelry so I am not sure if stronger cleaning agents might corrode it.
