Still got a bit of a wobble
I was specifically looking for winder for my Martin Dreadnaught. The fit was what I wanted and it is almost the right size but it does wobble. Not perfect but still gets the job done.

IF you cannot afford a better one, this will do. Sort of.
Bought this one as a "backup". Did not come with the "drill bit adapter", but that is OK. Had to file off the plastic peg remover as all it did was get in the way if you wanted to rotate the string winder without extending the handle to a 45 degree position. Not a big deal, do not use peg remover anyway. The string cutter can be made to work with patience and pressure. The winder itself works fine. If you really cannot afford a tool in the 18.00 to 20.00 range, this one will work. Otherwise, if your budget allows, I would get a higher quality winder only, not a multiple tool, then get a miniature diagonal or end-cutter from Walmart, Harbor Freight or a similar place. Multiple tools at bargain prices, usually "almost" work for several tasks instead of excelling at one task. But again, if you can't afford a better one, or just want a backup for your bag, this will work.

hopefully the drill bit works
I haven't had a chance to use the drill attachment yet but the speed handle broke within two guitars. the metal rivet holding the whole handle together cut right through the plastic spinner. before that it worked as advertised.

Give This One A "Spin"
Lots of good stuff to say about this little guy. Very well made, doesn't feel cheap and the action is surprisingly smooth for the price. The detachable bit is the real selling point; connect it to your drill and turn 30 seconds into 5. One caution: if your bass features large tuning pegs (Music Man/Stingray, vintage P-basses, etc) you may want to insert a bit of cloth into the slot before using with a drill because it WILL scuff your pegs.

Does not fit standard (US) hex driver
Well made, all that, but doesn't fit standard hex drivers so expect to need to use a drill chuck

Good tool.
I really like it but seems a little sloppy with clover tuners on my fender. Gets the job done. That's all I care about.

DOes what it's supposed to do.... but nothing fancy
This works.... it does what it's supposed to do... but it's not as good as others I've used... but, it was a bit cheaper than the better quality winders I've used so I guess ya get what ya pay for.... It's not junk. It will work... but you gotta go slower and have some patience with it. The pin puller also works but it feels like it might break at any second. If you are a gigging musician, step up and buy something that's better quality... If you're the weekend - campfire - backyard palying for your buddies kinda guy... this will do the job.

Simple yet effective
I’m not gonna lie, I threw the handle part away, and just popped the attachment in my drill, now changing strings is a breeze and now I don’t care if I break a string anymore, cause rip, flip, zip the strings under tension before I know it. I mean what could possible go wrong with using a 20volt impact drive to delicately tune a guitar at full throttle?

Guitar String Winder
Recently, I had to put new strings on my acoustic guitars and wish I had one of these devices when I was doing them. However, I would like the slot for holding the guitar winder is deeper and more secure so that I get a better grip. It is a good asset when you are a guitar player.
