Finished my project in no time
I used this to spray semi gloss Foundation armor at 350 to stamped concrete after power washing(days after for drying time) I did need to change the nozzle tip to the fine spray because too much of the sealer was spraying out AND I had over pressurized the container(first time using) once I corrected my mistakes, I was finished within 10 minutes. I had used a roller to save on a special sprayer but ended up using more product and leaving pools of sealer that looked “amateurish “ now this looks like someone actually knew what they were doing ! Easy cleanup , just spray back into gallon container. Hopefully this will last a few years. Get the SS , you won’t regret it when cleaning up. Dont slosh the sealer around inside the tank because it just makes it more difficult to clean properly. When finished spraying on surfaces, spray residue back into sealer container then pour one gallon of xylene into SS sprayer (pressurize) then spray the xylene back into its own container. Clean off the tip of your sprayer then after you’re finished open to dry out (in well ventilated space) save the xylene for next cleanup ! I’ve reused it three times before throwing it out. Works better than acetone. This sprayer is unaffected by industrial cleaners.

Update 18 months later-
I have both the non stainless X-treme Sprayer and this one. I spray primarily solvent-based stain sealers on driveways/sidewalks. To be fair, the red one has had quite a bit of use, however, maintaining it i.e., cleaning it isn't as simple. With time and multiple cleanings, the red painted finish also comes of vs. the stainless stays intact. Additionally, the interior of the stainless version is also stainless- again the same benefit for cleaning after use. I did consider a stainless version from one of Chapin' main competitors, however, there were a number of negatives voiced by commercial users sufficient for me to stick with 'Made in America' Chapin. I think you'll be quite satisfied rolling with Chapin on this one. ================================================================================================== Update 18 months in: This Chapin all-stainless model has proven to be a solid piece of equipment. I use it exclusively for spraying solvent-based sealers and stain-sealers, and I've put hundreds of gallons of product through it. I have had to purchase the kit for replacing the seals in fact I've bought that twice now. Consider purchasing the Chapin 6-8135 Xtreme Dripless Shut-Off spray wand if you will be using this commercially. It performs much better than the wand that comes with this sprayer. It's well worth the x-tra $50 bucks. In closing, if you look at the pic with the two Chapin sprayers, the red one, which is not stainless but instead has some sort of poly lining, that sprayer this week is headed for the landfill recycle center. After about 2.5 years, it has eventually rusted on the inside and is no longer usable. The brass pump itself is salvageable but the rest is junk now. So spend the extra and buy the stainless. You won't be disappointed.

Best sprayer I ever owned.
I know this sprayer is listed as a concrete sprayer, however I bought it for insect and weed control.Best built sprayer that I've seen, and I had several.I read the reviews that said they had leaks.Five minutes,a roll of teflon tape, and a wrench an all your problems would be solved.I wanted a cone nozzle to use spraying an the Chapin 6-6000 nozzle works great.Customer service was also good.

CUSTOMER SERVICE IS VERY EXTRA OUTSTANDING
When I had a problem I was so disappointed, thinking the unit was a lemon or some overpriced hype but then I called customer service and they jumped into gear and got me back up and working ASAP. It wasnt a simple problem but they took it in stride and made everything perfect.

Great Sprayer
I had been needing a sprayer for some time but never wanted to pony up the money but I finally did and I'm glad I choose the Chapin Stainless Steel Sprayer. It's all quality materials and quality construction. Simple design for a long lasting product. The only thing I'd like to see is a swivel connecting the hose to the tank so the hose can twist. Don't put it on the top shelf of your work trailer where it can fall off and be dented because otherwise you'll keep this sprayer for life.

Heavy duty Chapin
Used this for spraying concrete sealer on a 1800 sqft aggregate patio. Unit is definitely HD and worked flawlessly. Poured 1 gallon of xylene in it shook it around and sprayed it back into the gallon can. Don’t write reviews often but had to for this unit.

I bought the “stainless” because I use a strong solvent-based sealer. Still eats the black paint. Cheap stainless. Could have been better assembled.
