Everything else is perfect but sound could be louder
I believe that this version has a sound limiter but played around the settings and EQ through the Bluetooth headset sound's good!

Excellent sound but has some flaws
Excellent sound but poor battery when using WiFi. Also the hold button doesn't work to stop the power button and you cannot turn it off whilst charging. Smaller than expected so makes typing on the touchscreen not as easy as on a phone or tablet. But overall still very good.

Great SONY sound, terrible battery
I'm a bit mixed on my opinion of this device. As I removed it from the packaging I knew I was holding yet another beautifully built device by Sony. The orange version is also surprisingly nice to look at.First up the unit I purchased is EU volume capped. Therefore, although the sound quality is excellent it cannot truly shine. This device is so much more capable than it is allowed to be, thanks to the bureaucrats that believe we need protecting from ourselves. I have overcome this by purchasing a separate portable headphone amplifier. This allows the A105 to behave as it was designed. I can confirm the SQ generated by the little Sony is truly fantastic, for what is essentially a mid range device.Secondly, the battery life is awful. I cannot figure out what is drawing so much power. For the vast majority of the time I have WiFi and Bluetooth turned off, the screen off and no background apps running. Yet the battery drains as if there is something wrong with it, in fact maybe there is. Maybe Sony should have trimmed back the resource hungry Android OS for this device, I'm not sure. But this brings me to my final point. Android allows for downloading and installing apps to the device. For me the A105 has become my all round audio device. In addition to Sony's own Music App I have also installed, BBC Radio Player, Spotify, Audible and Patreon. So essentially when out and about I can listen to anything I please, but for serious listening I need to hook up my headphone amplifier to get the most out this Walkman. The Sony NW-A105 is a mixed bag to be honest. I would recommend avoiding the EU capped version, it really is too quiet. I would also recommend being mindful of the poor battery life, it's not a deal breaker but it may frustrate heavy users.

Flawed product !
This product is seriously flawed ! The battery life is about four hours with Bluetooth and it’s even less with wired headphones not 26 hours as stated ! It’s seriously under powered and has to be practically on full volume on over ear headphones !

Best DAP in 2020 for Jogging, I'm a jogger, I'm really fussy about audio quality.
Reason I got the NW-A105 is because I go jogging so I need a smaller device than a phone and I need physical buttons with lock. Reason I was replacing my old Walkman is I need one that can use streaming music apps.NW-A105 supports APTX and APTX HD so it's better bluetooth audio quality to wireless headphones and receivers than what most can receive. Most phones can't do APTX HD my Samsung A50 for example. So if you are looking for headphones and and hi-fi to pare with it try finding APTX HD. Just APTX is fine.I was using Tidal but now switched to Amazon Music HD. Both run on the NW-A105 fine but Amazon Music HD can run at a higher quality due to using FLAC instead of MQA. Both allow you to stream over wifi and allow you to choose which ones you want to download to the NW-A105, so make a playlist when done click download then turn off wifi go running for 5+ hours. Battery takes about 90mins to charge off a powerd USB hub.The NW-A105 supports SDcards:-microSD cards up to 128GB.microSDXC cards upto 2TB.

Sony ruined the music player
Worst music player Sony has made to date. The battery doesn’t last and eventually it struggles to charge. The music is too quiet (think eu sound limits but worse)The new Sony music players are not as good the the original Sony ones I was listing to years ago.
