When using Cricut Maker....
These sheets of wood arrived on time and are of good quality. Bought them to use with my Cricut Maker (knife blade). TIP for fellow Cricut Maker Crafters: Since these are Balsa Wood - I selected Material = Balsa Wood 1/16". Even after adding several additional cuts (after initial 7 cuts), it would not cut all the way through. I then selected BASSWOOD 1/16" because this setting applies additional pressure and makes more initial cuts (14). This did the trick! I would recommend these for use with the Cricut Maker as long as you select the material as Basswood (not Balsa) within the Cricut Design Space.

Doesn't Work WELL with Cricut Explorer Air 2
If you have a Circut Maker, I'm sure this works wonderfully. I have an Explorer Air 2 and used the deep cut blade and the highest pressure (350) and highest number of passes (9x) and it left a little bit to trim off via X-Acto knife. If I was doing larger/fewer letters, I would have completed my project nicely by trimming the last bits off myself. The wood itself was nice and seemed to work fine if i had the correct machine.

Would've given iy 5 stars but about 3in didn't cut all the way through and the end of the moon chipped a little. Used the bassawood setting on mt cricut maker. Overall still a great product ill be using more my for moda muse home collection

I'm a happy customer and will buy more
I bought these to use with my cricut maker. It was the 1st project I ever made. There was some learning (because I'm new to cricut) the cricut brand balsa wood warped when I glued and painted it from the added moisture but this product did not! However, it was a smidge more brittle and the thin bits prone to breakage but I think that's be the case with anything like this. I hadn't intended to paint away the outset but due to breaks, I decided to paint the project to camouflage the imperfections.

Perfect for repairing a crashed RC plane
This is exactly the material that is needed to repair a crashed RC plane. Using a razor blade and firm pressure you can cut the material to the shape you need. Lots of material, far more than I hope to ever need, but who knows. I'd buy again, if needed.

Do NOT buy for Cricut Maker!!!!!!
I never write reviews, but I felt like I needed to warn people. This product is horrible, if you are planning to use it for the Cricut Maker. It says it is 1/16 balsawood. It obviously is not. My maker took so many passes and would not cut the wood correctly. It never made it all the way through the wood. I tried it on multiple pieces. Spend hours on this project and have no wood pieces to use. It even messed up my strong hold mat. DO NOT BUY THIS IF YOU ARE USING IT FOR A CRICUT!!! After going to HL today and buying actual balsa and basswood, this is obviously plywood. So not cool!!! Item title and description need to change!!

Not for Those With Cricut Makers
I would not recommend for the Cricut Maker. I purchased this to cut a simple project and even with a brand new blade, multiple passes and attempting to use different material types, I still could not get it to cut all the way through this wood. Perhaps others were success but they did not share how. I went off the few reviews of folk who said they cut it on a Maker. This may be good for other projects, but I’d keep looking if you plan to use it for the Cricut Maker. It is also much thicker than the Balsawood I got from Joann’s. I just noticed in the description it lists both types of wood, so hard to know what we actually have. I thought I was purchasing 1/16 Balsawood.

Perfect. More sturdy than most
I prefer this to most other craft wood, which is too soft, flimsy, or easy to dent. It can be harder to cut as such, but worth it
